Method and system to print via e-mail

A system that enables users operating originating devices, such as computers (14), PDA's (16), phones (18), etc., to print by sending the content to be printed via an e-mail message (48). The e-mail message (48) is sent via a virtual printer e-mail address hosted by an e-mail server (50). The e-mail message is retrieved by a driverless print server (40), separated into a main file and attachment files, and printed on the printer (32). The system enables documents and documents to be printed without requiring a printer device driver corresponding to the target printer (32).
