Antibodies for oncogenic strains of hpv and methods of their use

The present invention offers the antibody which is combined with E6 protein originating in the carcinogenic stock of at least three sorts of HPV (s) and which is polyclonal and contains a monoclonal antibody. Generally, an antibody is combined with the amino acid motif saved between E6 protein of a different HPV stock, especially the HPV stocks 16 and 18. The HPV E6 protein in a sample can be detected using this antibody, therefore the antibody is useful to application to various diagnoses including the diagnostic method of cancer. The kit containing this antibody for enforcing this method is also offered.
