Abstract

A monitoring device of a motor vehicle comprising a programmed processor to simulate the operation of an internal combustion engine or a vehicle both at a basic level as in an exact or precise level, an input connection to the processor adapted to connect with the port board diagnostic (OBD) engine, means for interrogating the OBD in order to acquire data from signals identified by the indicators parameters (PID) standard industrial accordance with the requirements for the processor is able to create and obtain a basic model of the operation of the vehicle engine, and means for interrogating the OBD order to acquire real-time the available signals identified by standard PIDs nonindustrial, and processing means for analyzing and comparing the signals compared by the standard nonindustrial with signals obtained or derived from the basic model of engine operation in order to handle the PIDs standardized nonindustrial with a degree of confidence and to allow their signals to be used to produce PIDs one accurate simulation of the operation of the engine or vehicle.
