Systems for electrode contact assessment

A system and a method for judging contact of an electrode * organization for organization excision are indicated. An exemplary electrode contact detection system is provided with electrode 10 stored by distance portion of catheter shaft 14. At least one electric mechanical sensor 20 is carrying out operation connection at electrode 10 in catheter shaft 14. At least one electric mechanical sensor 20 reacts to a motion of an electrode by generating an electric signal corresponding to quantity of a motion of electrode 10. This system can also contain an output unit electrically connected to at least one electric mechanical sensor 20. An output unit receives an electric signal which judges a contact level between electrode 10 and organization 12.
