Multiple lens camera operable in various modes

One of the stages of those is specified as a default imaging stage including the 1st and 2nd imaging stage for an electronic camera to acquire a separate image of one scene. A processor enables acquisition and a display of the separate image, and in order to acquire further an image of a scene saved at a digital camera, it reacts to operator selection which chooses one of the imaging stages mainly used. When the operator selection does not arise within a prescribed period, or when the camera operates before the time went out, the processor chooses a default imaging stage automatically as a main acquisition unit.
