Scaling in a receiver for coded digital data symbols

Abstract

The coding digital data symbol transmitted through the send channel of a communication network is received by the receiver. The correction point estimate (y') which the point estimate (y) expressed in the bit of the 1st number (a+b) is calculated, and is expressed in 2nd number (c) smaller than the 1st bit number of bits -- and it is provided. Amplitude value is calculated for each point estimate (y), and a mean amplitude value is calculated for much amplitude value. A scaling factor (s) is calculated from a mean amplitude value, and the point estimate to which the scaling factor was applied is generated depending on a scaling factor. A scaling factor is used for many point estimates to which the scaling factor was applied corresponding to much amplitude value by which the mean amplitude value was calculated. Therefore, it is provided when better scaling factors are almost all channels, and these can also calculate the limited calculation resources which the terminal of such a network has.
