The present invention relates to slide support, especially slide support which has two long and slender members of a slot form section which slides one side in another side. the present invention copes with a problem about a thing a slot of a long and slender member opened such slide support in the perpendicular direction rather than were horizontal and which it is suitable and is used coming out. As for a sliding member, it is preferred that a brake style which gives resistance to relative sliding movement of a long and slender member is included. As for slide support, it is preferred to include a mechanism for demarcating one or more mid-position between a position where slide support was extended, and a shortened position.
