Pallet with telescoped leg assembly

A pallet comprising first and second (12, 30) platforms; at least two sets of post (50) extending between the first and second platforms to maintain the first and second platforms at a distance from one another, each post assembly (50) comprising: a member outer post (16A-16D ) including a substantially hollow tubular body extending axially from a base (23) connected to the first platform (12) at a free end (25) spaced therefrom, the tubular body defines a perimeter wall (21) of post external; and (36A-36D, 36 ') internal member including a body extending axially from a base (43) connected to the second platform (30) in a separate free end (45) thereof, the body of inner member 10 post defines an internal post wall, the inner post member including a groove (46) extending around at least a portion of the perimeter of the inner post base; wherein the free end of body inner post configured to be telescopically received within the tubular body outer post with the inner and outer posts positioned relative to one another and with the first and second platforms, such that at least one free end portion (25) of outer post is received in a groove (46) of inner post, in such a 15 way that the free end of outer post is radially supported by the second platform and wall inner post it is adjacent to the wall outer post to define a pole double wall, said wall of inner post comprises a continuous perimeter wall (41) extending between the base (43) of inner post and the free end (5) of body inner post, or a plurality of members (80) spaced fingers extending circumferentially between the base internal pole and the free end of body inner post 20 with at least one vertical rib (55 ') extending between members of opposing fingers ; and a connector disposed in at least one of the inner and outer members and configured to interconnect the first and second platforms.
