Abstract
The Invention relates to a protective helmet (10) with a convex domed closed outer shell (12). The outer shell (12) has on its outer side, in the central roof area a separate absorber assembly (18) on. The absorber assembly is elastically or plastically deformable and can absorb impact energy in this manner.
