Power amplifier linearization using RF feedback
Abstract
At the same time a high efficiency by using a RF feedback path to create an input predistortion signal, and high power amplifiers is adapted to operate the linearity is provided. This power amplifier includes a main amplifier (MA21), two splitters (SP21, SP31), one combiner (CO21), one subtracter (SU21), two phase shifters (PH21, PH31), one attenuator (AT21 ) and one of the main error amplifier (EA21). The splitter, combiner and the subtractor 90 or the design in the form of quadrature hybrid coupler. Quadrature hybrid can be implemented in any concentration or transmission line elements, the same value of the reflection coefficient from the load connected to the in-phase port and a 90 ° phase shift terminals, the reflected wave is not present at the main input terminal , in the input voltage standing wave ratio that results in the quadrature hybrid does not depend on the equal load mismatch level as compared to the in-phase splitters has a significant advantage.
