A package comprising: a wrapper (10) having a length, a top (20), a bottom (30), an outer surface having a periphery, a longitudinal axis and one or more lines of weakness defaults that are arranged substantially transverse to the length of the package and which are located more than about 5 mm of the top of the wrapping, said wrapping an end seal (60) located at the bottom of the wrapper and a top seal (70) which can act as opening aid located at the top of the wrapper; and an article (80) for feminine hygiene in the wrapper, wherein the article can be released by breaking the one or more lines (50) of weakness to form an opening, characterized by being contained that one or more lines (50) predetermined weakness are located in the upper third of the wrapper and extend around less than 50% of the periphery of the outer surface of the wrapper, wherein the wrapper remains in one piece after the one or more lines (50) of weakness are broken.
