Pivoting joints for spinal implants including designed resistance to motion
Abstract
Pivot connector is connected to the spine member to the longitudinal member. By placing the anchor head of the anchor in the cavity of the body it is attached pivotably to the body. Rod is inserted into the longitudinal channel cavity disposed in the body and is arranged in the axial direction. Applying a force for holding the retainer in the longitudinal direction of the channel load, but the power can be isolated from the anchor. The embodiment may include a compression member that is separate from the body may be formed integrally with the a body. The compression member is fixed to the turning movement of the anchor member relative to the body by passing the fixing force of the anchor rod (rod securing force) or limited. The compression member may be separated or bent under the action of the clamping force.Pivot connector, electron beam welding, orbital forming, hot forming, staking
