Radio frequency identification architecture
Abstract
The RFID architecture is explained. An interrogation is performed to a RFID tag by the reader which can be arranged in the network of a reader. A reader transmits a symbol to a tag. Each tag answers an interrogation as the symbol showing one or more bits of data. A RFID tag contains antenna pads, a receiver, a state machine, a charge pump, and a modulator. The receiver is combined with antenna pads. A receiver receives a symbol from antenna pads and outputs the received signal. The state machine is constituted so that a response symbol may be judged from the received signal and a store operating state. The modulator is combined with antenna pads. The modulator is constituted so that the backscatter abnormal conditions of the received symbol may be carried out with a response symbol. The modulator is constituted so that the symbol by which backscatter abnormal conditions were carried out may be outputted to antenna pads. The charge pump is constituted so that the received high frequency signal may be changed into substantial direct-current (DC) voltage.
