Method for storing and reading data

A method for storing data is described in which the data to be stored is printed using a printing device in the form of a plurality of dots comprising the dot pattern on the surface of a printable medium, the dot pattern at least one a given area on the printable medium comprises occupying dot pattern block, and wherein the surface of a dot pattern block occupies at least on the medium to be printed, a plurality of juxtaposed and / or superposed partial areas containing the same size, in each of which a part of the data to be stored representing dot pattern is printed. The described method is characterized in that each partial surface of a plurality of different basic dot patterns, in that each of the plurality of basic dot patterns comprises two dots which are arranged point-symmetrically with respect to a virtual reference point within the respective partial area, and that the base dot patterns in terms of angle of the virtual connecting line between the two points of the respective base dot pattern with respect to a virtual reference line differ. Furthermore, a method for reading out the data thus stored will be described.
