Connector apparatus

A coupling device (20) which connects a vertebra rod is provided with a main part of a coupling device which has an engaging-of-clutch portion (22) of C shape close to a closing engaging-of-clutch portion (24). Each opening contains an inner side contact surface which engages with a rod including an opening (26, 28) in which an engaging-of-clutch portion receives a rod, respectively. Position 合わせ of the penetration hole is substantially carried out perpendicularly to a longitudinal direction axis (L) of a main part of a coupling device including a penetration hole in which each engaging-of-clutch portion receives a screw (42, 44). When a rod is positioned in a corresponding opening (26), C-shaped a penetration hole and a screw (42) corresponding to an engaging-of-clutch portion are offset from a corresponding rod. A screw moves forward through a penetration hole, a rod is moved so that an inner side contact surface may be contacted, and engaging of clutch of the main part of a coupling device is carried out to a rod. A coupling device forms a flat fixing device which binds the top part tight, and provides connection of a stable upright transverse direction between adjoining vertebra rods.
