Process for the preparation of polyvinylidene chloride layered silicate nanocomposites

A polymeric film comprising at least one layer including a composition of this silicate nanocomposite layered with polyvinylidene chloride, the composition including 100 parts by weight of the composition, of a silicate layered nanocomposite with polyvinylidene chloride; 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of the composition, of a stabilizer; and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of the composition, of a polymeric processing aid. Alternatively, the polymer film includes at least one layer, at least one layer including a silicate nanocomposite composition layers with polyvinylidene chloride, the composition including 100 parts by weight of the composition, of a silicate nanocomposite layered with chloride polyvinylidene; and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of the composition, of a soap of a fatty acid. One can prepare a blister pack with any of these films.
