Method of making coated article using rapid heating for reducing emissivity and/or sheet resistance, and corresponding product

A method of making a coated with an emissivity and / or sheet resistance reduced, the method comprising article: forming a low-E coating on a glass substrate consequently resulting in a coated article, the coating of low comprising E at least one layer reflecting infrared (IR) sandwiched between at least a first and second dielectric layers; and rapidly heating the coated article comprising the low-E coating and glass substrate, being carried out such rapid heating using at least one gas flame that is located on one side of coating of the coated article so that (a ) the emissivity and / or sheet resistance of the low-E coating at least about 3% due to the rapid heating, and (b) the glass substrate does not exceed a temperature of about 400 degrees C during the rapid heating.
