Method and system for stent retention using an adhesive

Abstract

The present invention is the method of manufacturing the system which treats 病態 of a blood vessel. The catheter equipped with the balloon in which an in freight is possible is prepared. A stent is inserted in a balloon. Adhesives are applied between the inside of a stent, and the external surface of a balloon. Adhesives are heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of these adhesives. Adhesives are cooled to a temperature lower than the melting point of these adhesives, this obtains the adhesive line which holds a stent with a catheter during intravascular conveyance, and a stent is emitted from a balloon following the inflation and the deflation of a balloon in a treated area.
