Method and apparatus for detection of moving objects by SAR images
Abstract
A method for detecting moving objects (3) by SAR images, comprising the steps of: - generating a signal (PRF) of pulse repetition frequency that starts with a radar signal (Rp); and - generating a sequence of SAR images (IA, ISA) that begins with the signal (PRF) of pulses repetition frequency; wherein the step of generating a sequence of SAR images (IA, ISA) comprises generating images (ISA) low azimuth resolution by means of coherent integration of the signal (PRF) frequency pulse repetition for time sub-opening (TSA) shorter than an aperture time (TA); and comprising the steps of: - generating difference images (ID) through point-to-point difference between SAR (ISA) images subsequent low azimuth resolution; and - recognizing patterns (D; RP, RN) associated to moving objects (3) in the difference images (ID).
