Abstract

conveyor system (20) comprising: a surface (26) for conveying a series of articles; at least one sensor (30, 31, 32, 34) for sensing the articles on said surface (26) of transport; a control (36) responsive to said at least one sensor (30, 31, 32, 34), setting said control (36) at least one parameter of individual articles and controlling said conveying surface (26) of transport according to said at least one parameter of the articles; said control (36) comprising a computer (64) and a program for said computer (64), characterized in that said program defines at least one probability estimator, wherein said control (36) determines the at least one parameter articles at least in part by said at least one probability estimator.
