Method for filling liquid or loose goods in a container

Disclosed is a method for dispensing a minimum amount of a liquid or pourable medium (1) in a container (2), wherein the amount of the filled medium (1) is detected, and the bottling by closing a valve (6) is ended as soon as the amount of the filled medium (1) has reached a final value. According to the invention it is provided that the filling of the medium (1) in a first container (2) takes place in several filling steps by the filling by closing the valve (6) is interrupted in a first filling step by which during the closing of the valve (6 ) occurring overrun of the medium (1) to be determined and in a subsequent filling step, the filling by opening the valve (6) is continued, wherein the final value for terminating the subsequent dispensing step, taking into account a in a previous filling step, during the closing of the valve (6) certain lag of the medium (1) is determined. In this way, a greater precision during filling of the container (2) with the medium (1), in particular in case of new filling of the apparatus used for performing this method (3) is achieved.
