Connection assembly for flexible containers

A connection assembly for connection to the mouth of a container (2) flexible connection assembly comprising: a member (4) having an inner inner perimeter and an outer perimeter and an inner flange around its outer perimeter; an outer member (6) having an inner perimeter and an outer perimeter and an outer flange (8) around its external perimeter and a recess (7) around its internal perimeter sized to engage the flange (5) inside the member ( 4) inside; being the inner members (4) and outer (6) adapted to engage each other and take the container mouth (2) between the inner and outer resilient members (4) and (6); and wherein the connector assembly further comprising: a member (10) sealant having an internal perimeter and an external perimeter, whereby the sealing member is sized to rest on the flange (5) inside the member (4) inside and on the outer flange (8) of the member (6) outside.
