Abstract

The present invention relates to the computer primary data storage system 46 which unifies the function of the file backup 56 and the remote copy 76 in order to obtain the integrated storage system which protects data from the loss relevant to the fault of a system or a network, or the physical loss of a data center. One case of the operation of the present invention offers the method of managing the soundness of a file. This method performs the content checksum of the file in the 1st repository node to it, in order to obtain the 1st checksum to the 1st, and it contains the step which saves the 1st checksum at the 1st repository node. By this method, in order to obtain the 2nd checksum to the 2nd, to it, the content checksum on a file is performed again, and the 2nd checksum is compared with the 1st checksum.
