Use of temperature and flow profiles in gradient elution based analytical process

Abstract

[Subject] The method and equipment for optimizing the liquid chromatography / mass spectrometry system for inclination elution are offered. [Solution means] The matrix which determines a certain temperature profile, makes gas flow into an atmospheric pressure ionization interface according to it, and flows into this interface from a liquid chromatography column is made to evaporate. A matrix is prevented from making this gas flow into an interface and flowing into a mass spectrometer, when a certain flow profile is determined and this matrix does not contain the sample for the purpose of detection according to it. A decision of temperature and a flow profile is made based on the characteristic at the time of a matrix eluting into an interface from a column. In order to realize this temperature profile and a flow profile, a heating control device and a flow control device are used, respectively. This heating control device and flow control device can control whether it programs by software.
