The invention relates to a stand for holding medical devices on a patient's bed.
Such a stand is known from DE 296 21 904 U1. When using medical devices, such as infusion devices, transfusion devices, drainage devices or blood pressure measuring devices, it is necessary to adjust the height of the respective device precisely in relation to the patient so that the hydrostatic pressure of the corresponding liquid is precisely maintained. For example, when draining cerebrospinal fluid from the brain, it is absolutely critical to maintain the respective pressure. Even with invasive blood pressure measurement, the height of the blood pressure measuring device (transducer) in relation to the patient's heart is of the utmost importance in order to maintain correct measured values.
DE 296 21 904 U1 mentioned at the beginning therefore proposes a stand for holding medical devices, which is fastened to the patient's bed with a clamping claw and has a stand rod to which the corresponding medical devices are fastened. These devices can be moved along the stand rod in order to set the correct height in each case.
If the head position or head height of the patient is adjusted in that the bed back part is pivoted, the corresponding devices must also be adjusted, which is done by the fact that between the clamping claw and the stand rod there is a pivot joint that pivots about a substantially horizontal axis allowed. The tripod is attached to the swiveling bed back section via the clamping claw. If the bed back part is pivoted, the stand rod also pivots into an inclined position which, after pivoting the bed back part, is corrected by pivoting the stand rod back into a vertical position by hand and then locking it.
No. 4,489,454 shows a holder for a hemodynamic pressure transducer which has a vertical arm attached to the stationary base frame of the patient's bed and a second arm projecting horizontally therefrom Height is attached. When the back part of the bed is pivoted, the height of the pressure transducer must be readjusted again. This is complex and can lead to measurement errors.
The object of the invention is to improve the stand of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that, with a simple structure and simple operation, it allows perfect height adjustment of the medical device when the bed back part is pivoted. This object is achieved by the features specified in claim 1. Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
The basic idea of the invention is to design the stand rod as a telescopic rod. A fixed part of the telescopic rod is attached to the fixed base frame of the patient's bed. The respective medical device is attached to the linearly displaceable part of the telescopic rod. A guide member which can be brought into contact with the pivotable back part is attached to the movable part of the stand rod. The movable part of the telescopic rod can thus be coupled to the pivotable bed back part and follows its height adjustment.
The guide element is preferably a rotatable roller, as a result of which guide and frictional forces are reduced.
For basic adjustment, this guide member or the roller can be displaced and locked along the telescopic rod.
According to a further development of the invention, the two telescopic parts are held so that they cannot rotate relative to one another and can therefore only move in the longitudinal direction, that is to say linearly. This avoids unintentional twisting of the telescopic rod that leads to the patient, such as hoses or measuring wires, are stressed and possibly torn out.
It is also advantageous if the two telescopic parts can be locked relative to one another, which is done, for example, by means of a locking screw. The coupling of the movable stand part with the bed back part can be canceled when the bed back part is lowered, which is necessary, for example, for readjusting or setting the relative height of the guide member.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment in conjunction with the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1 is a schematic side view of the stand in two different swivel positions
AT 412 836 B of the bed back part;
2 shows a cross section of the stand through the guide member; and
3 shows a schematic diagram of an advantageous embodiment of the stand.
The stand in its entirety is denoted by the reference number 1. It has a stand 5 rod, which is designed as a telescopic rod with two telescopic parts 2 and 3, wherein in the specific embodiment the one telescopic rod 2 is designed as a round rod and the second telescopic part 3 as a profile rod. Medical devices can be attached to the second telescope part 3 in a known manner, which is indicated here by a liquor container 4. The lower part 2 of the telescopic rod is firmly connected to a clamping claw 5, which can be fastened to the stationary base frame 7 of the patient's bed by means of a screw 6. This creates a rigid connection between the stand rod and the patient's bed, so that the stand rod is always aligned vertically as long as the base frame of the patient's bed is aligned horizontally. As a rule, however, this can be assumed.
A guide member 9 is attached to the movable part 3 of the telescopic rod and is supported on the pivotable bed back part 8. This guide element is preferably a rotatable roller which is connected to the upper part of the stand rod via a connection 10. This connection 10 can be a screw with a bearing sleeve (not shown).
If the bed back part 8 is pivoted up from the position shown in solid lines into the position 8 'shown with dashed lines, the guide member 9 is in the
Position 9 'moves vertically upwards and thus takes the upper movable part 3 of the stand rod with it. As a result, the height of the medical devices 4 are also adjusted by the same amount.
Since the bed back part is pivoted about an axis 14 with respect to the base frame 7, an imaginary point on the bed back part therefore performs a circular movement, while the guide member 9 can only perform a linear movement due to the forced guidance of the telescopic rod, the guide member 9 moves relative to the longitudinal axis of the bed back part 8, from which it can be seen that it is expedient to design the guide member as a rotatable roller.
Fig. 2 shows a horizontal cross section of the stand. The lower fixed part 2 of the stand rod is designed as a round rod, the upper movable part 3 as a profile rod with a profile recess into which the lower part 2 engages. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, it can be a circular recess into which several webs 14 'protrude, in the specific case four pairs of two webs, which are each arranged around the circumference offset by 90 °. A screw 15, which can be screwed into the rod 2 and which is guided between a pair of webs 14 ', is provided to prevent rotation. A linear shift is thus easily possible, but no rotation.
A locking screw 16 is also provided, which is screwed laterally into the profile rod 3 and extends as far as the round rod 2 and thus secures the profile rod 3 with respect to the round rod 2.
The profile bar 3 also has a profile recess 13 extending over its entire length, in which a profile piece 11 is guided so as to be linearly displaceable. The roller 9 is attached to this profile piece 11 by means of the fastening 10. The attachment 10 can for example be a screw. The profile piece 11 extends over a predetermined length and has another threaded hole into which a fastening screw 12 (Fig. 1) can be screwed in, with which the profile piece 11 and thus also the roller 9 can be fixed with respect to the profile rod 3.
The length of the profile piece 11 can correspond to the length of the upper part 3 in the extreme case. It is required to adjust the height of the medical device in relation to the patient.
As is clear from the schematic sketch in FIG. 3, a reference point on the patient, which is, for example, the Monroi foramen during brain drainage and is indicated by a circle 17 in FIG. 3, moves along a circular path 18, while the medical device, such as such a drainage device, runs along the straight path of the telescopic rod. This results in a height error h which is negligible for small pivot angles α of the bed back part, but can assume noticeable dimensions with larger pivot angles.
To compensate for this error, a cam guide 19 can be attached to the pivotable bed back part 8, for example likewise with a clamping claw (not shown). That
Guide member 9 then runs along this cam guide 19, which compensates for the height error
AT 412 836 B, since the reference point 17 'on the patient is at the same height as the displaced guide member 9' even in the wasted position.
Instead of a cam disk, a corresponding link guide can also be attached to the pivotable bed back part 8, the guide member 9 then being a pin which is inserted in this
Leadership runs.
