The invention relates to a work safety and rescue suit in the form of an overalls. Such suits are used to rescue and secure people, animals and objects that are to be roped down from buildings, trees or rock faces with the help of abseiling devices - be it in rescue operations, be it for work safety.

The aim of the invention is to design such a suit in such a way that it offers a slight hold and ensures a good distribution of the pressures occurring during use. The suit according to the invention is characterized in that the straps sewn to the overalls in the thigh area, in the buttocks area and in the armpit area of ​​the overalls are connected by fastening rings with four movable straps provided on the front part of the overalls, with two further movable straps on the front part of the thigh area of ​​the overalls Upward straps are connected together with the other four straps in two movable fastening rings in the chest area.

The movable straps on the front part of the overalls are preferably connected to the overalls via Velcro fasteners and can be detached from the overalls when the fastening rings are pulled. As a result, the occupant of the work safety and rescue suit assumes a position with a health-harmless pressure distribution.
