The invention relates to a delivery device on a sheet-fed rotary printing press according to the preamble of claim 1.
[State of the art]
A delivery device of this type is known from DE 198 19 490 C1 and DE 198 19 491 C1. This delivery device has an endlessly revolving conveyor system for feeding and depositing sheets on a first delivery stack. A drum acting as a switch and having at least one gripper bridge is assigned to the conveyor system so that certain sheets can be deposited on a second delivery stack below the drum by means of the drum. The second delivery stack is designed as a stacking system and can preferably be designed as a pallet or lattice box, for example for receiving waste sheets, or as a stacking system with stop means and straight pushers for exact stacking edges.
A disadvantage of a second delivery stack in the form of a stacking system with a pallet or lattice box is that the waste sheets are compressed when they are deposited or curl up, especially in the case of limp sheet materials with a low surface weight. The stacking or receiving volume on the second delivery stack is quickly reached in the case of compressed waste sheets and the sheets in the stacking system often have to be disposed of. For example, in the case of a lattice box as a second delivery stack, the capacity is quickly reached and the lattice box has to be changed or at least emptied as a whole.
DE 197 22 956 A shows a printing machine with only one delivery stack. When the final height is reached, the delivery stack should be conveyed away as quickly and safely as possible so that the next delivery stack can be formed. The removal should take place safely and furthermore slipping of the sheets lying on top of one another should be avoided. Before the delivery stack is transported away, the air still located between the individual sheets should be
Stack compactor can be eliminated. The stack compactor is arranged above the delivery sheet stack and acts with pneumatic or mechanical means on the last (topmost) sheet of the delivery stack.
A device for stacking sheets, for example for storing bank notes in cassettes of a service machine, is known from US Pat. No. 5,676,366. The individual sheets are guided in a transport level and are to be placed on a spring-loaded stack within a cassette. For this purpose, a vertically movable press plate formed parallel to the transport plane is coupled to a drivable gear mechanism. The press plate can be moved between a latching position above the transport plane for sheets and a stacking position below this transport plane.
[Object of the invention]
The invention is based on the object of creating a delivery device of the type mentioned at the beginning which avoids the disadvantages mentioned, which in particular improves the storage of sheet material on the second delivery stack and reduces the expenditure for disposal.
The problem is solved by the training features of claim 1. Further developments result from the subclaims.
A first advantage is based on the fact that through the use of a pressing device the sheet material, in particular waste sheets, can be bent better on the second delivery stack. A stacking system, preferably a lattice box, is preferably arranged on the second delivery stack, into which the pressing device compresses the possibly built-up sheet material and thus creates the space for receiving further waste sheets on the second delivery stack or stacking system.
It is also advantageous that the maximum stacking or receiving volume is reached with a time delay on the second delivery stack due to the invention. Disposal is therefore required less frequently and the associated expense is reduced.
[Examples]
The invention is to be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment. Show:
1 shows a delivery device on a sheet-fed rotary printing press with a first and a second delivery stack,
AT 41 1 994 B
2 shows the second delivery stack with a pressing device.
In a sheet-fed rotary printing machine, a printing unit 1, which can also be formed by a processing unit, for example a painting unit or some other further processing station, is followed in the conveying direction 14 by a delivery device. The printing unit 1 consists of a rubber blanket cylinder 2 (in the case of a coating unit, this corresponds to the forme cylinder) and a printing cylinder 4. The inking unit and, if applicable, the dampening unit will not be discussed in more detail here. The blanket cylinder 2 is functionally connected to a printing cylinder 4, a transfer cylinder 3 for sheet transport being arranged upstream of the printing cylinder 4 in the conveying direction 14. With respect to the blanket cylinder 2 with a single-sized diameter, the
Printing cylinder 4 and the transfer cylinder 3 are each designed with a double-sized diameter and each with two gripper bridges on the circumference.
The delivery device consists, among other things, of an endlessly revolving sheet conveyor system 5 with several gripper systems, the sheet conveyor system 5 preferably being designed as a chain conveyor with a first sheet guide device, which can preferably be pneumatically actuated. Outside the lower run of the sheet conveyor system 5, a recess extending over the format width is arranged within the first sheet guide device at a short distance from the sheet conveyor system.
A sheet-guiding drum 11 is assigned below the lower run of the sheet conveyor system 5 in the region of the recess. The drum 11 is mounted on the frame side and has at least one gripper bridge, which intersects the recess with its flight circle. A second delivery stack 10, for example a stacking system, is arranged downstream below the drum 11 for depositing the sheets. The sheet conveying system 5 extends over a first delivery stack 9 functioning as a main stack. In the conveying direction 14 in front of this first delivery stack 9, the sheet-guiding drum 11 is assigned to the sheet conveying system 5. In the present example, the drum 11 is designed in relation to a single-sized rubber blanket cylinder 2 as a double-sized drum 11 with two gripper bridges arranged symmetrically around the circumference.
The drum 11 acts as a switch for the optional removal or depositing of sheets from the revolving sheet conveyor system 5. For this purpose, the drum 11 is preferably assigned to a horizontally arranged part of the sheet conveyor system 5 and that which is guided on the drum 11
The sheet can be bent onto a second delivery stack 10. The second delivery stack 10 has a stacking system which, in its simplest form, is formed by a pallet or a lattice box for receiving waste sheets.
In the present example, the delivery device consists of a first delivery module 6, a removal module 7 arranged downstream in the conveying direction 14 with a second downstream module
Extension module 8. The extension device 6-8 is preferably supported on the frame side by an A-pillar 12 and a B-pillar 13.
A coupling gear as a four-swivel joint chain 1621 is arranged on the frame 15 of the delivery device 6-8. The coupling gear 16-21 is preferably arranged on the frame 15 facing away from the drum 11 (FIG. 2). The coupling gear 16-21 is coupled to an actuating device 26.
A pressing device 22 is arranged on the coupling gear 16-21, which can be pivoted on guide tracks 23, 24 from a first position (pressing device 22) outside the delivery area to a second position (pressing device 22 ') on the second delivery stack 2. The coupling gear 16-21 consists of a first swivel 16 fixed to the frame and a second swivel 17 fixed to the frame. A second coupling 19 is articulated on the second swivel joint 17 and is articulated on the pressing device 22 by means of a fourth swivel joint 21.
The coupling mechanism 16-21 is preferably designed as a double rocker arm in terms of transmission technology. Thus, the coupling gear 16-21 can also be designed as a parallel crank. In the last embodiment, the positions of the pressing device 20, 20 are limited as end positions with stops.
The pressing device 20 has arranged below (facing the delivery stack 10)
Press head 25 on. The press head 25 is preferably formed by at least two flat irons arranged in parallel with or without a cross connection or by a plate. The press head 25 is maximally dimensioned in such a way that it corresponds to the maximum sheet format. Is preferred
AT 41 1 994 Β the press head 25 is made smaller than the maximum sheet format. When using a lattice box (second delivery stack 10), the press head 25 is dimensioned such that it can plunge into the free space of the lattice box from above without collision in order to compress the sheet material.
The swivel joints 16, 17 are preferably designed as shafts. For example, the swivel joint 17 designed as a shaft is coupled to the actuating device 26. In the simplest embodiment, the actuating device 26 is a manually operable lever. Alternatively, a pneumatically actuatable working cylinder is preferably functionally connected to the shaft (swivel joint 17).
If a certain amount of compressed and / or rolled or otherwise damaged sheets (waste sheets) is deposited on the second delivery stack 10, the actuating device 26 is activated manually or automatically, for example via a control computer. The shafts in the swivel joints 16, 17 pivot the pressing device 22 via the coupling 18, 19 from the first position outside the delivery area (parking position next to the drum 11)
Guide tracks 23, 24 in a second position (pressing device 22 ', coupling 18', 19 ') on the delivery stack 10. The waste sheet material is compressed on the delivery stack 10 on the pallet or within the lattice box and then the pressing device 22 swings on the guide tracks 23, 24 back to the first position.
