The invention relates to an arrangement of at least two flat elements with at least one running faceplate to form a sliding-folding unit, in particular a sliding-folding door or window, each element being surrounded by a frame which, in the closed state of the unit, has a Floor corresponds and the flat elements are articulated with the floor or with the faceplate or, if necessary, with each other via at least one swivel hinge, at least one faceplate with at least one roller device is guided in a running rail, which is arranged in the floor and the frame, the stick and the faceplate are made from profile rods and the slide-and-fold unit in the closed state, especially when viewed from the outer cover front is designed to be flush with the surface, the rotating hinges also being arranged in a concealed manner.
An arrangement of the type cited at the beginning is known from GB 1 589 950 A. The disadvantage of this arrangement is that the flat elements are guided and moved while hanging in the upper rail. This results in an extremely complicated rail structure in the ceiling area. In addition, the hanging load can lead to complications in the movement of the individual elements.
Furthermore, a folding wall is known from CH 659 682 A5 and EP 0 401 180 A1, which consists of a plurality of profile-framed folding wall panels slidably guided in an upper and a lower guide rail.
Furthermore, from US Pat. No. 4,667,724 A, a folding wall is known which has forend uprights between the flat elements, the structure of which is very complex.
A disadvantage of the arrangements shown above is that they are very expensive to manufacture. Furthermore, there is a high susceptibility to failure due to the great expense of individual parts.
It is a window wall unit, which consists of several adjacent , hinged wings, it is known from DE-U 83 37 442.6. These wings can be moved in an accordion-like folding movement in guide rails running in the plane of the wall on the underside and on the top. Such a window wall unit is used as a so-called folding window wall in rooms of residential buildings, which are primarily used in summer as an open space and in winter as a protected space, in the manner of a winter garden.
Furthermore, a window or door wall unit is known from EP 440 152 A1, which is designed in accordance with the prior art cited above. In this document it is proposed that one or more wings be articulated with tilt and turn fittings. At least the support posts used for this window or door wall unit are made of insulating profiles, with two shells. These support posts consist of an inner shell and an outer shell, which are connected to one another in a heat-insulated manner in a known manner by an insulating rod made of plastic. Inside, a vertical chamber is formed by appropriate wall linings, which is used to accommodate a locking device of a guide pin and to fix the lower carriage.
A folding sliding door or window is also known from EP 277 531 A1, which has a plurality of hingedly connected and displaceable leaves to close off building outer walls. In order to achieve a heat-insulating seal with a simple construction at the same time, it is proposed to connect the wings adjacent to one another via a common hinge axis, so that there is a joint to be sealed for each hinge point.
Finally, reference is made to EP 400 346 A1, from which a window with at least two window sashes is known, the window sashes being foldable against one another in order to open the window opening.
A disadvantage of all of the above-mentioned slide-and-fold units is that, due to their poor thermal design, subsequent renovations can occur, which may lead to warranty claims from customers.
The object of the invention is therefore to create an arrangement for a sliding-folding unit, cited at the outset, which on the one hand avoids the above disadvantages and on the other hand ensures efficient and economical production and assembly.
The object is achieved by the invention.
The arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that at least one profile rod
AT 41 1 380 B has at least two thermal separations for the frame and / or the floor and / or the faceplate. With the invention it is possible for the first time to offer a slide-and-fold unit on the market that is in line with today's trend towards energy saving. The slide-and-fold unit according to the invention has thermal insulation improved by approximately 30%, which leads to a reduction in heating costs and thus also to a reduction in pollutant emissions. Furthermore, the sliding-folding unit according to the invention has the invaluable advantage that in the closed state there is a flush plane. Apart from the improved burglary protection, this version meets customer requirements for a visually attractive, uniformly designed cover front - whether seen from the inside or the outside.
According to a further special feature of the invention, when the unit is closed, three sealing levels are provided between the adjacent, corresponding profile rods. Due to the thermally perfect design, in particular due to the three sealing levels, of this sliding-folding unit, there is no so-called sweating or fogging of the panes. The necessary air circulation is guaranteed.
A faceplate is provided between two flat elements. As a result, a more optimal load distribution is achieved, whereby the malfunctions that occur when opening or closing are avoided.
According to a further special embodiment of the invention, the faceplate, as known per se, has a roller device at its lower end and the roller device consists of two rollers, in particular stainless steel rollers, arranged one behind the other in the direction of movement. This compact roller apparatus ensures that the static load is absorbed in relation to the required compact design and the structural specifications with regard to the desired thermal results.
According to a further development of the invention, the roller apparatus is arranged in the faceplate upright in a profile-integrated manner. This eliminates the dangers that can arise from splashing water. This measure also serves to meet the requirement for flush surfaces. A high-quality, static and dynamic system of guidance in rolling technology is thus given.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the running rail is made of rust-free, preferably stainless steel-reinforced material. This choice of material also meets the demand for a high-quality roller technology system very much.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the cross section of the running rail is round. It is of course assumed that the running surfaces of the rollers of the roller apparatus are designed accordingly. This track geometry ensures an optimal guiding behavior, whereby the necessary surface pressure is also mastered.
According to a special feature of the invention, each profile rod consists of three partial profiles, at least two partial profiles having a cavity and two partial profiles, preferably at least one of which with a cavity, being connected to one another via a thermal separation. This structural design of the profile bars with double thermal separation bring about 30% energy savings. The economic and energy economic benefit can be determined mathematically on the basis of the energy prices. Such profile bars are of course also suitable for energy-saving houses or the like and are fully in line with today's resource philosophy.
According to a further development of the invention, the profile rod consisting of partial profiles has at least one extension with an undercut groove for receiving a sealing strand, a surface for the stop of the sealing strand being provided on the corresponding profile rod. Since, as already mentioned, three sealing levels are provided in the slide-and-fold unit according to the invention, the joint is no longer a weak point from the point of view of energy management.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the profile bar consisting of partial profiles has at least one outer part into which the glazing strips can be clipped. A simple and efficient glazing of the elements is guaranteed.
According to a further special feature of the invention, the profile bar consisting of partial profiles has at least one groove for receiving or fastening a rotating hinge. This guarantees simple and functionally reliable assembly of the rotating hinges.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the component consists of partial profiles
AT 41 1 380 B
Profile bar in the area of the rotating hinge has a cutout for receiving the rotating hinge. Through this milling, the specially designed rotating track, which on the one hand has flanks for fastening in the corresponding frame profile and on the other hand has a stop, can be moved quasi in the interior of the profile bar.
According to a special feature of the invention, the profile bar provided for the faceplate upright has a, preferably centrally arranged, partial profile in which a stop surface is provided for limiting the angle of rotation for the rotating hinge. This stop surface corresponds to the stop. This enables an opening angle of 90 °. This opening angle of 90 ° ensures absolute freedom from collisions when the slide-fold unit is stacked, i.e. folded up like an accordion. A meeting or slamming of the door handles in the folded state can therefore be ruled out. Damage to the product caused in this way is therefore avoided.
According to a particular development of the invention, the locking device is provided on the outside cover front or on the inside in the profile bar provided for the faceplate. Due to the universal design of the profile bars, the sliding / folding unit can be stacked either on the inside or on the outside of the cover front. Since the partial profiles on the room side of the faceplate are designed as profile bars, the locking device can be installed from both sides. This further training also meets many customer requests.
The profile bar, which consists of partial profiles, can have at least one, preferably standardized, groove for the frame for receiving a tilt, tilt, or slide and tilt fitting. According to a very often expressed customer request, such an enrichment of a sliding-folding unit is easy to accommodate.
The invention is explained in more detail using exemplary embodiments that are shown in the drawing.

According to FIG. 1, three flat elements 1 are provided for a sliding-folding door. Each flat element 1, in particular a double pane of glass, is surrounded by a frame 2. The flat elements 1 are connected to one another via faceplate 3. The articulated connection of the frame 2 to the faceplate 3 takes place via rotating hinges 4. In the closed state, the frame 2 corresponds to a stick 5, which is provided, for example, in the masonry. At least one faceplate 3 has a roller apparatus 6, in particular at its lower end. For better guidance, the faceplate 3 can also have rollers or guide elements at its upper end. This roller apparatus 6 runs on a rail which is integrated in the floor 5. The frame 2, the faceplate 3 and the floor 5 are made of profiles. For opening, the elements 1 are moved in an accordion-like folding movement, the faceplate 3, which does not have a roller mechanism, being provided with a lock and a handle 7. The arrow 48 indicates the opening direction. When viewed from the outside cover front, as in the case shown, this cover front is designed to be flush with the surface, with the rotating hinges 4 also being arranged in a concealed manner.
According to FIG. 2, the frame 2 is shown with its corresponding stick 5 according to the section aa in FIG. The profile bar 8, which serves as a frame 2, has two thermal separations 9 and consists of three partial profiles 10, 11, 12. At least two partial profiles 10, 12 have a cavity 13. In each case two partial profiles 10, 11, 12, at least one with
AT 41 1 380 Β is provided with a cavity 13, are connected to one another via a thermal separation 9. The partial profile TO has an outer part 14 into which a glazing bead 15 can be clipped. The glazing bead 15 with its seal 16 in cooperation with the extension 17 and the associated seal 18 serve to accommodate the flat element 1, the double pane.
The profile bar 19, which serves as a floor 5, is anchored in the masonry, again has two thermal separations 9 and also consists of three partial profiles 20, 21, 22. Each of the partial profiles 20, 21, 22 has a cavity 13. In the closed state of the sliding / folding door, that is to say in the illustrated case, three sealing planes with the sealing strands 23 are provided between the corresponding profile rods 8, 19. These sealing strands 23 are arranged in undercut grooves 24 and press against stops 25 of the corresponding partial profiles 20, 21, 22.
The profile bar 8 for the frame 2 can have at least one standardized groove for receiving a tilt, turn and tilt or slide and tilt fitting.
According to FIG. 3, two frames 2, which are connected via a faceplate 3, are shown according to the section bb in FIG.
The frame 2 corresponds to the explanations relating to FIG. 2 and consists of the three partial profiles 10, 11, 12 which are connected to the profile bar 8 via the two thermal separations 9. In the frame 2, the flat element 1, the double pane, is used.
The faceplate 3 is a profile rod 26 which again consists of three partial profiles 27, 28, 29, two partial profiles 27, 28 and 28, 29 being connected to one another via a thermal break 9. Here, too, the three sealing levels are given, the sealing strands 23 with stops 25 or corresponding seals 30 performing their sealing tasks in the closed state of the sliding / folding door. The seals 30 are also arranged in undercut grooves 31.
According to FIG. 4, two frames 2, according to the section cc in FIG. 1, are shown, which are connected via a faceplate 3 by means of rotating hinges 4, but in the open state of the sliding-folding door.
This FIG. 4 largely corresponds to FIG. 3, but for reasons of clarity without sealing strands 23 and seals 30. For this, the rotating hinges 4 arranged in the profile bar 26 of the faceplate 3 are shown.
The rotating belts 4 articulately connect the profile bar 26 to the profile bars 8. In the area of the arrangement of the rotating belts 4, the profile bar 26 is milled out accordingly. In the undercut groove 31, in which the seal 30 is provided in other areas, the rotating hinge 4 is fastened with a part 32. The second fastening part 33 of the rotating hinge 4 is fixedly connected to the partial profile 12 of the profile bar 8. The rotating hinge 4 is now designed in such a way that a cantilevered stop part 34, which limits the opening angle, is provided symmetrically to the fastening part 33. Corresponding to this stop part 34, the partial profile 28 has a further stop surface 35. With this construction, the opening angle can be limited to 90 °.
In addition, the handle 7 can be installed in the partial profile 29 and the corresponding locking device 36 can be installed in the cavity 13. Of course, the handle 7 could also be arranged on the partial profile 27 and act on the locking device 36 with a passage.
According to FIG. 5, a roller apparatus 6 is shown according to section dd in FIG. 1. The profile bar 19 for the stick 5 has the partial profile 21 which is provided with a receptacle 37 for a running rail 38. The running rail 38 is made of rustproof, stainless steel reinforced material and has a round cross section.
The roller apparatus 6 is arranged in a profile-integrated manner at the lower end of the faceplate 3. The roller apparatus 6 consists of two stainless steel rollers 39 arranged one behind the other in the direction of movement.
Finally, for the sake of clarity, it should be pointed out that in the drawing, individual components and assemblies are shown disproportionately and distorted to scale for a better understanding of the invention.
