Glass panel with a fastening fitting
Abstract
A glass panel 1 with securing parts, between which the glass panel 1 is retained, and with at least one sheet- like voltaic element 4 with leads for conducting away power. The leads for conducting away power enter radially in between the securing parts and exit axially at one of the securing parts. The securing parts are designed as two securing plates 8, 9 which can be screwed to one another and form a fastening fitting, which projects through a cutout 6, preferably a closed-circumference hole, in the glass panel 1. The fastening fitting can be anchored on a load-bearing structure by means of a fastening screw 20. <IMAGE>

The invention relates to a glass pane with holding parts between which the glass pane is held, and with at least one flat voltaic element with lines for the discharge of current which enter radially between the holding parts and exit axially at one of the holding parts.
Such a pane of glass is known from EP 0 017 334 A1. The mounting parts are formed in the shape of a fist. Such a pane of glass is mainly suitable for horizontal or approximately horizontal mounting.
In the case of glass facades, glass panes, in particular composite glass elements, are fastened by means of point fixings arranged behind the glass panes. These point fixings pass through recesses in the glass panes and fix the glass panes to the supporting structure.
The object of the invention is to create an optimal discharge of the electrical current in a glass facade which is at least partially formed by glass panes with voltaic elements.
The object of the invention is achieved in that the mounting parts are designed in a manner known per se as two mounting plates which can be coupled to one another, preferably screwed together, which form a mounting fitting that protrudes through a recess, preferably a circumferentially closed hole, in the glass pane and by means of a mounting screw can be anchored to a supporting structure.
So that the lines for the discharge of current can be passed through the holder for the glass pane unhindered, it is provided in one embodiment of the invention that the holder plates are screwed by means of separate screws, which are preferably arranged in the area of the cylindrical lugs.
The lines within the glass pane are advantageously formed by flat metal strips which are connected to round wires or strands in the area of the mounting plates by means of couplings. The electricity is diverted to the building via the round wires or strands.
In order to avoid oxidation of the lines in the coupling area, it is provided in one embodiment of the invention that the recess with a plastic material, wax or the like. is poured out and the lines are embedded in this material. Polyurethane is advantageously used as a plastic material.
Two exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the figures in the accompanying drawings.
Show it:
1 shows a side view of a fastening fitting according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the outer mounting plate of the mounting fitting; FIG. FIG. 3 shows a section along the line AA of FIG. 2;
FIG. 4 shows a section along the line BB of FIG. 3;
Figure 5 is a side view of a cover;
6 shows an axial section through a fastening screw;
FIG. 7 shows a section analogous to FIG. 3 according to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention;
FIG. 8 shows a section along the line BB of FIG. 7 and FIG. 9 shows a plan view of a glass pane according to the invention.
The glass panes 1 according to the invention (Fig. 3) are generally used as a glass facade
Support struts attached to a building front.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the glass pane 1 according to the invention consists of two individual panes 2, 3 glued to one another, between which there are several voltaic elements 4. The voltaic elements 4 are provided or connected with lines by means of which the current is derived from the voltaic elements 4. In the exemplary embodiment, the lines are formed by flat metal strips 5.
The glass pane 1 is provided with several hole-shaped recesses 6, in the area of which the fastening fitting 7 is arranged. The fastening fitting 7 consists of an inner holding plate 8, that is to say facing the glass facade, and an opposing outer holding plate 9. In the exemplary embodiment, the holding plates 8, 9 are screwed together by means of three separate screws 10. The screws 10 are in nut threads 11 in the mounting plate 8
AT 408 005 B and protrude through holes in the mounting plate 9.
Both mounting plates 8, 9 are provided with cylindrical lugs 13, 14 (FIG. 7) which protrude into the recess 6 of the glass pane 1 and in the area of which the screws 10 are arranged.
Separate seals 15, for example made of rubber or plastic, are inserted between the glass pane 1 and the mounting plates 8, 9.
The outer mounting plate 9 has a central opening 17 (FIG. 2). The opening 17 is provided with a nut thread into which a mating thread of a bolt-like projection 18 formed on the cover cap 16 (FIG. 7) engages.
When assembling the glass pane 1, the two mounting plates 8, 9 can be fixed and, together with the glass pane 1, by means of a fastening screw 20 on a supporting frame or the like. to be assembled. Then the metal strips 5 and the cables 24, which together form the lines for the discharge of current, are connected by the couplings 25. The couplings 25 are preferably designed as plug-in couplings. However, it can also be a welded connection.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the inner, that is to say the mounting plate 8 facing the building, is provided with an elongated hole 19 through which the fastening screw 20 protrudes. The fastening screw 20 has a head part 21 which is supported on a holding surface 22 of the holder plate 8 and holds it in a clamping manner. In the head part 21 is a hexagon socket 27 or the like. formed, via which the fastening screw 20 can be rotated. The mounting plate 8 is displaceable with respect to the fastening screw 20 over the length of the elongated hole 19, whereby assembly differences can be compensated.
The fastening screw 20 is designed as a hollow cylinder with an axially continuous opening 23 through which cables 24 protrude, which are connected to the lines 5 within the recess 6 via couplings 25 and, together with these, the lines for the discharge of current from the voltaic elements 4 form.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7, the fastening screw 20 is screwed into a nut thread 26 in the mounting plate 8. In this exemplary embodiment, the fastening screw 20 has a hexagon socket 27 or the like at the rear end. which enables the attack of an Allen key.
In order to avoid oxidation of the lines formed by the metal strips 5 and the cables 24 for the discharge of current in the area of the couplings 25, the recesses 6 are preferably filled with a material of low electrical conductivity, for example wax or a plastic material such as polyurethane.
The lines for the dissipation of electricity enter the mounting fittings 7 between the mounting plates 8, 9 radially and exit axially through the inner mounting plate 8 and the fastening screw 20. There are therefore no optically disruptive connections.
