Apparatus for objective evaluation of hearing using auditory steady-state responses

Abstract

(57) By recording a stationary state hearing indecement response, summary book invention relates to the equipment and the method for evaluating a subject's hearing ability. It is determined whether the response which carries out a stimulus pair to the potential which equipment generated the stationary state hearing evoked potential stimulus, gave the subject the stimulus, and detected potential simultaneously with it, and also was detected exists. You may also include the test signal with which amplitude modulation and frequency modulation were together put by the optimal vector, the independent amplitude modulation signal and frequency modulation signal which were adjusted in order that a stimulus might induce the response of the amplitude which increased, and the signal with which the envelope curve was modulated by the index modulating signal. By using sample dignity attachment equalization, equipment is constituted again so that the noise in the detected potential may be decreased. Equipment may be constituted so that the response in the potential detected through a phase dignity attachment t test or phase section technology may be detected again. Equipment may be constituted so that various hearing study including the examination during the latent period, an AM/FM discernment examination, a rate sensitive degree examination, an adaptability hearing ability examination, a depth sensitive degree examination, an upper part threshold value examination, and a hearing threshold value examination may be carried out further. Equipment may be constituted so that the kind of two or more senses of a subject may carry out further two or more feeling examination examined simultaneously.
