The invention relates to a drawer with two double-walled drawer frames in which profile parts made of a plastic material are received, which extend over the entire length of the drawer frames and which have front cover plates for an end face of the drawer frame.

Such a drawer is known from AT 355 756 B. Due to the profile part used, the drawer frame, which is formed from a relatively thin material, is stiffened, which contributes significantly to the stability of the drawer frame. The pull-out guide is advantageously partially integrated into the profile part or anchored to it. With such a drawer, it is also possible to anchor a front panel of the drawer to the profile parts.

The object of the invention is to improve the hold of the profile parts in the drawer frames in the pull-out direction of the drawer in a drawer of the type mentioned at the beginning.

The object of the invention is achieved in that the profile parts consist of separate front and rear sections which have the front and rear cover plates with which they rest against the front and rear faces of the drawer frames and which can be coupled to one another by means of hooks or the like.

The profile parts formed by the sections thus extend over the entire length of each drawer frame and protrude slightly from this at the ends. They are supported at the front and back on the drawer frames.

The drawer frames can also be part of a tub that forms the entire receiving space of the drawer. The tub and drawer frames are, for example, injection-molded in one piece from plastic material or deep-drawn from sheet metal.

In order to improve the stiffening of the drawer frames or the tubs, one embodiment of the invention provides that the cover plates have grooves in which the ends of the drawer frames are received.

Another embodiment of the invention provides that the rear sections are designed with a hollow chamber open at the top for receiving retaining pins of a rear wall elevation.

At least some of the hooks that couple the sections are resilient, so that it is sufficient to push the sections into one another in order to connect them to one another.

The sections advantageously each have two hooks which are arranged one above the other and point in opposite directions. In order to provide an improved hold for the outer walls of the drawer frames, it is advantageously provided that the rear sections are provided with holding parts which can be displaced or pivoted in a vertical plane and which each snap into a flange on the outer wall of the drawer frames. The holding parts are advantageously formed by slides or pivotable levers which have inclined stop surfaces for the hooks of the front sections. With this design, when the sections are anchored to one another, the slides or levers are pressed down into the flange of the outer wall and thus a firm bond between the drawer frame and the profile part is achieved.

The sections 2, 3, which are preferably formed from plastic profiles, have front and rear cover plates 19, 20, which are provided on the inside with grooves 21 that accommodate the edges of the drawer frames 8 and thus to further stiffen the drawer frames 8 or the tub 1 contribute.

The sections 2, 3 also have vertical struts 22 which correspond to the cross section of the drawer frames 8 and stiffen the drawer frames 8.

The sections 2, 3 are provided with hooks 9, 10 and 13, 14, by means of which the sections 2, 3 can be coupled to one another. The hooks 9, 10, 13, 14 are arranged one above the other, the hooks 10, 13 of the front part 2 being directed towards one another, while the hooks 9, 14 of the rear part 3 point in opposite directions.

In advantageous embodiments of the invention, a pivotable lever 15 or a slide 16 is mounted on the rear section 3 below the lower hook 14 (FIGS. 11, 12). The pivotable lever 15 or the slide 16 protrudes downward into a flange 23 of the outer wall 8 of the drawer frame 8. Both the pivotable lever 15 and the slide 16 are provided with inclined stop surfaces 24, 24 'on which the hook 13 of the front Part 2 with a mating surface 25 rests. As a result, when the sections 2, 3 are coupled, the pivotable lever 15 or the slide 16 is pressed down into the flange 23.

In the front section 2 there is formed a chamber 26 which is open to the front and in which anchoring means 12 for the brackets 11 of a front panel (not shown) are arranged (FIG. 7). The front section 2 has a lateral opening which enables a screwdriver to access the anchoring means 12. This opening is covered by a removable cap 4.

The rear sections 3 have hollow chambers 5 which are open at the top and into which retaining pins 28 of a rear wall elevation 6 can be inserted. Railings 7 can be attached to the rear wall elevation 6 in a conventional manner (FIG. 3).

The pull-out rails 17 of a drawer slide set are advantageously attached directly to the sections 2, 3.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5, 6, the outer walls 8 of the drawer frames 8 can be removed and clipped onto the sections 2, 3.

While the inventive stiffening of the drawer frame 8 is used, in particular in the case of drawers with a tub 1, it is entirely possible to stiffen separate drawer frames 8, as shown in FIG. 4, with the sections 2, 3 according to the invention.
