The invention relates to a device on a soldering machine according to the introductory part of the patent claim.
The problem with soldering machines is that the exhaust air, which is around 200 ° C, contains various substances. In connection with the vapors of the soldering agent, these lead to the formation of a sticky liquid residue when it cools, which is deposited on the walls of an exhaust duct. Because of the mostly only relatively small diameter of the exhaust air duct, this results in problematic cleaning of this duct.
The aim of the invention is to avoid this disadvantage.
According to the invention, this is achieved in a soldering machine of the type mentioned at the outset by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The proposed measures ensure that the problematic constituents of the exhaust air from the soldering machines are essentially deposited at a precisely defined place which is designed in such a way that cleaning can be carried out with relatively little effort. The condensation of the exhaust air from the soldering machine takes place due to the heat exchange between the ambient air that flows around the condenser and the hot exhaust air from the soldering machine.
The features of claim 2 also make it possible to clean the sump.
The features of claim 3 allow a particularly simple cleaning of the condenser or its baffles.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. Show:
1 schematically shows a longitudinal section through a condenser in elevation,
Fig. 2 schematically shows a longitudinal section through the capacitor in plan view with the deflector plates and pulled out
3 shows a schematic plan view of the flow conditions in the condenser.
The same reference symbols denote the same details in all the figures.
The capacitor 1 shown in the figures is arranged in an exhaust air line 2 of a soldering machine, not shown, as close as possible to the same. The capacitor 1 expediently has an essentially rectangular or square cross section. The underside is formed by a perforated plate 3.
The side walls 4, 5 of the condenser 1 are provided with slots 6 arranged at regular intervals, the slots 6 of the opposing side walls 4, 5 being offset from one another by half their division in the direction of flow, see arrow 16, of the exhaust air.
Deflection plates 7, 8 can be pushed into these slots 6, the deflection plates 7 being connected to one another via a web 9 and the deflection plates 8 being connected to one another via a web 10. These webs 9, 10 can be fastened to the capacitor by means of screws 11.
As can be seen from Fig. 3, the baffles 7, 8 have a length which is less than the corresponding inside dimension of the capacitor 1, so that between the free ends of the baffles 7, 8 and the opposite inner wall of the Condenser 1 result in passage cross-sections 12 through which the exhaust air of the soldering machine can flow, which is expediently sucked through the condenser 1 by means of a fan 17 connected downstream of the condenser. As a result, the tightness of the implementation of the baffles 7, 8 through the side walls 4, 5 need not be made high demands, since in no case solder fumes can escape into the surrounding space.
Below the perforated plate 3, a sump 13 for receiving the condensed residues is provided, which is provided with a drain port 14 at its lowest point. A drain valve 15 is arranged in this drain connection 14.
When the soldering machine, not shown, is in operation, its exhaust air is sucked through the exhaust air line 2 and thus also through the condenser 1 by means of a fan.
Owing to the frequent deflection of the exhaust air in the area of the condenser 1, there is a very intimate heat exchange in the area of the deflection plates 7, 8 between these plates, which dissipate the heat to the outside, and the approx. 200 ° C warm exhaust air. As a result, the residues contained in the exhaust air condense on the deflection plates 7, 8 and run through the openings of the perforated plate 3 into the sump 13 arranged below this, where they are collected.
From time to time the collected residues can be drained off via the drain valve 15 and reused.

The capacitor 1 can be cleaned very easily in such a way that the webs 9, 10 together with the baffles 7, 8 are pulled out of the capacitor 1 from the side and cleaned. If necessary, the condenser can also be designed to be divided, so that its inner walls can also be cleaned easily. For this purpose, it is sufficient, for example, to provide flanges at points diagonally opposite one another in cross-section, at which the two halves of the capacitor rest against one another and can be connected to one another by means of screws.
