A deployment unit for a provided electronic weapon and a mechanism or circuit that describes the deployment unit to the electronic weapon, and in response to the electronic weapon and a mechanism or circuit for driving a first electrode of the deployment unit. The first electrode is a target to impede locomotion by the conduction current through a human or animals.
