Abstract
An isolated nucleotide sequence comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide having Delta4-desaturase, wherein the amino acid sequence of said polypeptide has an identity of at least 70% with amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting by SEQ ID NO: 18, SEQ ID NO: 19, SEQ ID NO: 20, SEQ ID NO: 21, SEQ ID NO: 37, SEQ ID NO: 46 and SEQ ID NO: 55.
