Mitral valve therapy assembly

Assembly (50) to restore the condition of a mitral valve annulus of a heart comprising: a device for mitral valve therapy (30) configured to shape again the annulus of the mitral heart valve when provided in inside the coronary sinus adjacent to the mitral valve ring; a guide bar (54) having a distal tube end (57), a proximal end (59) and a lumen (55) extending between the distal end and the proximal end; It characterized in that the assembly further comprises: a guidewire (52) configured for feeding into the coronary sinus adjacent the mitral valve ring heart; and wherein the guide tube further includes an intermediate side port (58) between the distal end and the proximal end and communicating with the lumen to allow the guide tube is slidingly received on the guide wire with said guidewire extending from the distal end through the lumen, and to the side port, so that said guide tube is slidable along the guidewire to a position adjacent the annulus of the mitral valve in the coronary sinus and the device mitral valve therapy guidable within the guide tube using an introducer (56) for disposition adjacent to the mitral valve ring coronary sinus.
