The invention relates to a cylinder lock and an associated flat key.
The cylinder lock is of that kind in which controls are provided with control organs, which protrude into a keyway and scan cam grooves of a key inserted into the keyway, wherein on at least one side of the key channel is provided approximately parallel to this at least one control element with two control elements, which extend with a first longitudinal extent through a slot of the cylinder core into the key channel to cooperate with the shallow control grooves of the key inserted into the key channel and on the same side of the key channel at least one further control element is provided with a control member, which extends with a second longitudinal extent through another slot of the cylinder core into the key channel, to interact with the deep cam groove of the key inserted in the keyway, wherein the first longitudinal extent is smaller than the second longitudinal extent and at least one blocking element is provided, which can be brought in a corresponding position of the control in the release position for the rotation of the cylinder core relative to the cylinder housing.
In the associated flat key are generically provided on the side surfaces of the control grooves, whose distance from the spine is variable, and possibly other controls, like incisions on the key bit for pin tumblers, Control surfaces on the spine and longitudinal ribs and grooves arranged in the key insertion direction, wherein at least one of the two side surfaces at least three control grooves are provided, at least one of the control grooves is formed deeper than the other control grooves and the two shallow control grooves are provided approximately parallel to each other.
The present invention is based on a key-lock construction, as disclosed in EP-OS 335 069.
The invention aims to improve this known lock in terms of variation number and locking safety. The same effect should also be achieved with regard to the new formation of the key. The lock according to the invention is characterized according to the characterizing part of claim 1. Further preferred and advantageous features of the invention, also with regard to the key formation, can be taken from the following description, the patent claims and the drawing.
In the following the invention will be described in more detail with reference to an embodiment. 1 shows a lock cylinder, in which the cylinder housing in the central longitudinal section and the therein rotatable cylinder core are shown in view in the untwisted position. 2 shows schematically a section along the line II-II, wherein only one half of the cylinder core and cylinder housing is shown and the key is inserted. 3 is a section along the line III-III in Figure 2. Fig.4 is a central longitudinal section through the cylinder housing and Fig.5 partially cut the view of the cylinder housing from the right, wherein the partial section of the line VV in FIG. 4 equivalent. 6 is the side view of a key and Figure 7 is a section along the line VII-VII in Figure 6.
In the cylinder housing 1 sits in the cylinder bore 2 of the cylinder core 3, which is rotatable relative to the cylinder housing. Towards the outside of the cylinder core is completed by the collar 4, while sitting on the other side of the cylinder core of the not further running here coupling part 5.
The cylinder housing 1 has six annular grooves 6 parallel to one another, which are open towards the cylinder bore 2. In a longitudinal recess 7 of the cylinder core 3, a locking slide 8 is slidably disposed, which carries a number of blocking elements 9, which protrude beyond the outer cylindrical surface of the cylinder core 3 and can enter into the annular grooves 6 with a corresponding sliding position of the locking slide 8 and thus allow the cylinder core to be twisted in the cylinder housing, or prevent twisting of the cylinder core in the illustrated sliding position, because they get stuck on the webs 34 between the annular grooves 6. The suspension of the locking slide via a spring pin 10th At one end of the locking slide 8, a spool 11 is provided which can dip radially into the cylinder core. In the region 12 of the spool 11 is located above a ramp surface 42 of the locking slide. 8 If the spool 11 is pressed into the cylinder core, there is a shift of the locking slide 8 to the right against the spring of the spring pin 10 until the locking elements 9 have taken the alignment with the annular grooves 6 position.
Parallel to the closing channel, not shown here locking pins 13 are slidably disposed in cleared holes, as will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.
2 shows a section along the line ll-ll, wherein only one half of a Zyiinderschlosses is shown. The other half is only indicated schematically to keep the drawing clearer.
The key 14 is fully inserted into the associated keyway of the cylinder core. The key 14 has control grooves 15, by which the corresponding displacement position of the locking pins 16 is adjusted, which are arranged displaceably in the holes 13 cleared. The locking pins 16
AT 400 968 Β point toward the key channel control bolt 17 which are guided in the control grooves 15 of the key and on the other side carries each locking pin 16 locking pin 18 which run in recesses 19 when the locking slide 8 is in the position shown.
The spool 11 is in the zero position (untwisted position of the cylinder core in the cylinder housing) in a control recess 20 of the cylinder housing. 1 When turning the cylinder, the spool 11 is pushed in the direction of arrow 21 inward, which is permitted by the Kalottenfräsungen 22 in the key 14. In this case, the locking slide 8 is moved to the right, which in turn is made possible by the fact that the locking pins 16 occupy a position according to the correct key 14, which allow the entry of the locking extensions 23 of the locking slide 8. Furthermore, the locking elements 9 reach the corresponding position that they are aligned with the annular grooves 6 of the housing and allow rotation of the cylinder core in the cylinder housing.
In Figure 3 is a section is shown, which illustrates the interaction of the parts described above. The cross-section of the key 14 is incomplete insofar as it has only drawn the grooves 15 which are actually effective at the corresponding cross-sectional location. In the left half thus missing the single deeper groove and in the right half missing the two shallower grooves, which will be explained in more detail below.
The flat key 14 is scanned from the left and from the right by the two locking pins 16 and, strictly speaking, by the control bolt 17th Both locking pins 16 are displaced in the cleared holes 13 in height. The Sperrbol2en 18 are as ribs along the locking pins 16 and have recesses 24 through which the locking extensions 23 of the locking slide 8 can be pushed. If all locking pins 16 occupy this correct position on one side of the key 14, the associated locking slide 8 can be moved, so that the locking elements 9 can enter during rotation of the cylinder core in the respective associated annular grooves 6, so that the cylinder core can be further rotated.
If the key is a wrong one, at least one of the locking pins 16 is wrong, so that the locking pin 18 meshes with one or both locking extensions 23 and thus the locking slide 8 can not be moved. The locking elements 9 then strike against the surfaces 25 of the webs 34 between the annular grooves 6, so that further rotation of the cylinder core is massively and effectively prevented.
As a further security and variation element a profile strip 26 is provided. This profile strip 26 lies along the keyway in a recess 27 of the cylinder core and is radially displaceable therein, ie in the direction of and to the key. The profiling 28 feels an associated profiling of the key back (resp. the key-chest) 29 off. The profile strip 26 has distributed over its length a plurality of cradles 30 with which the profile strip is in moon-shaped Auflaufmulden 31 when the key is in the zero position. The profiles 28 and those of the key back 29 are not engaged. When turning the cylinder core, the profile strip 26 is pushed in the direction of the key back, so that the mutual profiles scan each other. If the profiles do not match, the profile strip 26 remains with a part of its body within the cleared slot 32, so that the strip abuts one of the abutment surfaces 33 of the webs between the annular grooves 6. 8, 9 show the profile strip 26 in section and view from the key channel ago and are self-evident. The drawn rib number is only one of the many possible variations. 3 shows the profile strip 26 in the elevated position, as occurs in practice only after rotation of the cylinder core. The depth of the grooves 15 and the longitudinal extension of the control pin 17 are each shown with the same dimensions. In practice, there are preferably different dimensions, as explained below with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7.
FIGS. 4, 5 illustrate a central longitudinal section and a view of the cylinder housing 1 for better understanding. The control recess 20 is used to control the spool 11th The annular grooves 6 are each separated from the webs 34 from each other. The webs 34 are interrupted by the cleared grooves 35 and form the surfaces 25, which optionally serve as a stop for the locking elements 9. Three of the annular grooves 6 have the moon-shaped Auflaufmulden 31, in which the casseroles run 30 and whereby the profiled strip 26 is pressed inwardly against the back of the key. The also cleared groove 36 is used during assembly for insertion of the profile strip 26 in the recess 27 of the cylinder core.
The Fig. 6 shows the side view of a key, as he, for example, in a lock according to FIGS. 1 to 5 can be eingezetzt. The key shank carries on the illustrated flat side 37, the Kalottenfräsung 22 for receiving the spool 11th From the key tip 38, three cam grooves extend according to the above-described cam grooves 15. The two control grooves 39 are guided parallel to one another and are designed to be relatively shallow. The third control groove 40 is made deeper
AT 400 968 Β and thus can cut the two other grooves 39 also. There are two types of locking pins 16, as shown in Fig.3. One Sperrstifttype has a longer control pin 17 which is guided by the deep control groove 40. The other Sperrstifttype has two shorter control pins, which are guided by the two control grooves 39. As circles in Fig.6 the positions of the mutually parallel different control pins 17 of the locking pins are located.
Through different course of the three control grooves 39 and 40 different key variations are formed.
Preferably, the key is provided as a reversible key, after which the other key flat side is formed so that after a 180 "rotation results in the same image, as shown in Figure 6.
The key tip 38 is dovetailed except. The shallow grooves 39 extend into both tip portions of the key, while the deep control groove 40 begins in the middle at the bottom of the dovetailed recess. This ensures that the control pin 17 of the locking pins are detected independently of their respective random rest position of the correct control grooves.
The profiling on both key backs is also provided here symmetrically for the formation of a reversible key, wherein the profiling shows any of the many possible profiling variations.
The profiling is preferably tilted, which makes rework much more difficult.
In the vicinity of the key tip 38, two transverse grooves 41 are provided, which serve as locking grooves for a arranged in the cylinder core spring catch. By means of this spring catch, the key user is noticeably signaled when the key has been pushed completely into the keyway.
The Kalottenfräsung 22 extends with their zylinerflächenförmigen reasons to near the central longitudinal plane of the key, so that only a relatively thin web remains between these reasons. The depth of each Kalottenfräsung corresponds to the necessary stroke of the spool 11th However, the cap milling may extend only over a limited part of the key shaft height, otherwise the key would break at this point. This is another security feature of the key. Preferably, the height 44 of the cap milling is more than 50% of the key shaft height 45.
At the key tip 38 is the base 46 of the dovetailed recess 47 in the longitudinal plane of symmetry 48 of the key shank, from where also a deeper groove 40 (on both key sides) takes its exit.
The two flanks 49 guide the control bolt 17 of the locking pins in a likewise symmetrical position, from which extend the parallel shallower control grooves 39.
To the operation of the castle should be added that the spool 11 causes the displacement of the locking slide 8. The spool 11 may be made of hardened metal, so that only a slight wear occurs. The displacement is supported by the chamfers of the locking elements 9 (see Figure 1), which slide along the leading edges of the webs 34 between the annular grooves 6. Wear on these bevels is effectively prevented.
