Tube set for a pump

Tube assembly (60) for insertion into a receiving portion of the tube assembly (26A) of a pump (10) comprising: a tube (30) elongated and a base (62) constructed for insertion into said portion of receiving tube assembly (26A) of said pump (10), wherein said base (62) has a first end portion (64) and a second end portion (66), said first end portion (64) a first receiving aperture tube (68) therethrough defining said second end portion (66) a second receiving aperture tube (70) therethrough, the second said openings receiving the first tube being constructed and ( 68, 70) to receive and permit sliding of a length of the tube (30) therethrough; characterized in that said base (62) also defines an arcuate compression surface (72) extending 120-340 degrees circumferentially around the tube (30) and along the length of the tube (30) located between the first receiving opening tube (68) and the second tube receiving aperture (70).
