Dual-beam antenna aperture

An antenna arrangement having an aperture generating a multi-beam pattern with low side-lobe levels for a base station in a communications network, comprising: a plurality of radiating elements (5) arranged in three separate columns of elements to along an antenna panel (3), thereby forming an opening, forming a number of such panels antenna base station and producing two beams each opening; characterized in that each group of three separate columns forms at least two subpanels for different pattern in elevation; and each subpanel (4, 14) also has three vertical columns of radiators, each subpanel of three columns is connected to a separate network beamforming (7) having a first, a second and a third output terminal forming ports antenna and two input terminals and creating a phase gradient between the signals appearing at the antenna ports.
