Injection-moulding machine
Abstract
An injection-moulding machine having a machine frame 1, a stationary and a moving mould clamping plate 3, 7 and an end plate 8 carrying a closing mechanism. The end plate 8, on which the moveable mould clamping plate 3 is supported, and the stationary mould clamping plate 7 are connected by two bars 2 which are supported on the stationary mould clamping plate 7. The bars 2 are aligned vertically in a manner known per se, and a connecting line 5 between the two bars 2 is located at an oblique angle, preferably at an angle of at least approximately 45 degree, to the direction of displacement 6 of the sliding table 10. <IMAGE>

The invention relates to an injection molding machine with a machine frame, a stationary and a movable platen, as well as a closing mechanism bearing end plate, wherein the end plate on which the movable platen is supported, and the stationary platen are connected via two spars, which are connected to support the stationary platen.
In conventional injection molding machines, the stationary platen and the end plate are connected via four spars, which delimit a rectangle and on which the movable platen is movable. The forces occurring during the closing process and the injection process are dissipated via the spars.
From EP-PS 0 311 133 a barless injection molding machine is known in which the face plate and the stationary platen are connected via a machine frame, so that the closing force occurring during the closing operation and the Auftreibkraft occurring by the injection between the face plate and the stationary platen can only be derived via the machine frame. Such an injection molding machine offers a very good accessibility to the tool and makes a simple tool change possible.
From the AT-PS 354 065 and the US-PS 3,594,869 injection molding machines are known which have only two located in a horizontal plane spars. Good accessibility of the tool from above is given. However, the accessibility from the operating side of the machine over conventional injection molding machines with four bars is deteriorated.
The object of the invention is to provide an injection molding machine that combines the advantages of both systems, ie makes a power dissipation over the spars at a good accessibility to the tool possible.
The object of the invention is achieved in that the spars are vertically aligned in a conventional manner and a connecting line between the two bars at an oblique angle preferably at an angle of at least approximately 45 ° to the direction of displacement of the sliding table.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawings. 1 shows a front view of an injection molding machine according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the fixed platen with sliding table of an injection molding machine in vertical design, and FIG. 3 shows a schematic side view of the injection molding machine according to FIG. 2.
The not belonging to the invention parts of the injection molding machine, such as the locking mechanism and the injection unit are not shown. They are manufactured according to the conventional state of the art.
In the exemplary embodiment, the injection molding machine is supported on a frame 1, on which two spars 2 are mounted on the fixed platen 7 and the face plate 8. In the figures, the movable platen 3 and the mold 4 are still drawn.
Figs. 2 and 3 show schematically the arrangement of the vertically oriented injection molding machine. In this case, the two bars 2 are on both sides of a sliding table 10. The level 5, in which the two bars 2 are located at an angle of 45 'to the direction of movement 6 of the sliding table.
The diagonal arrangement of the spars 2 gives excellent access to the mold 4 and injection point. This also facilitates the provision of peripheral devices.
