Sensor element for a capacitive touch switch

The invention makes it possible to provide a sensor element or a contact switch arrangement (11, 111) with a sensor surface (12, 112). The sensor surface is located on the underside (13) of a user interface (114). It is at least partially translucent or transparent and is lit from below with an LED (17, 117) as the light source. In one embodiment of the invention, funnel-shaped, closed light-conducting means (20) are provided which guide the light from the LED (17) to the sensor surface (20) or shield it from the environment. The light-conducting means may additionally have additional functions, such as securing the position or making electrical contact with the sensor surface (12, 112).
