Humeral nail (2), comprising a body (4) of elongated shape, suited to be introduced at least partially in the medullary canal (108) of the humerus (100), this body (4) comprising a proximal portion (43) provided with receiving holes (44) intended to receive fixing members (22), such as screws, which allow fixing humeral fragments (1061-1063) initially splintered, this nail also comprising a locking member (6 ) suitable for locking said fixing members (22), the locking member (6) movable relative to the body (4) between a position of free passage of fixing members (22), in which the body lock (6) allows free passage of these fixing means through said holes (44), and a locking position of the fixing members (22), in which this locking member (6) ensures locking these fixing members (22) relative to the walls of these holes (44), characterized in that the locking member (6) comprises different openings (61), of which each comprises a portion of free passage (611), extending opposite the hole (44) corresponding to the free passage position and a locking portion (612), whose walls are suitable to abut against a corresponding fixing member (22) in the locking position .
