Umbrella
Abstract
The umbrella 200 includes two stems 211 which are attached to a handle 12 and can be spread in a V shape. Automatic deployment devices, which comprise sliders 218 having springs 221, are arranged on the two stems. The sliders 218 act via struts 17 on roof rods 16 which tension an umbrella roof 214 which is common to both stems 211. The roof rods 16', which are adjacent to one another between the stems 211, are shortened, so that when the covering 214 is tensioned, the stems 211 only form an angle of approximately 50 degree with each other and the tensioned umbrella roof is relatively flat. <IMAGE>

The invention relates to a screen for the protection of persons against the weather, with two sticks mounted on one handle at one end, which can be spread in a V-shape from a parallel and closely adjacent layer and each of which carries a rod hub near the other end, with roof poles in the shape of flexible rods, which are distributed circumferentially about the circumference of the stick axis at one end on the rod hub in a plane passing through the stick axis and of which pairs are connected between the sticks at the ends, with a slide which can be displaced on the sticks up to an end of a displacement path situated against the free stick end, with struts attached to each slide and each in the middle of a roof-length, by means of which, when the slider is engaged, the badge lengths can be raised from a position applied to the stick to a position protruding from the stick, and with one connected to the roof bars, the roof poles of both floors common clothing, which can be spread by folding the roof bars into an area covering the area circumscribed by the peaks of the exposed roof poles and can be folded into folds when the roof poles are applied to the pole
Such a screen is known from US-PS 990 632. In the known embodiment, the roof bars between the floors adjacent to each other are as long as the other roof bars, In the clamped state obtained by the two poles an angle of almost 90 °, which causes the outer areas of the two Schirmdüch cr very far herunterrcichcn and total an umbrella arrangement arises which is not useful in practice because it hinders the view too much. Even with a Doppclschirm the type in question here cs is essential that the canopy remains as flat as possible, so that the panoramic view is possible.
Another disadvantage of the known embodiment is that for clamping the known screen basically three hands are required: a hand for detecting the umbrella grip and one more for simultaneous Hochschicbcn the two slides into the Einraststcllung at the upper end of the poles. Namely, first the canopy is opened only one stick, while that of the second floor closed upper semi-open hingängn, the middle roof bars experience a strong Bicgcbcanspruchung, and there is a very awkward handling of the screen during clamping.
Another screen with two expandable sticks and manually hochschicbbarcn slides is known from US-PS 34 64 431. However, this umbrella has no covering common to the roofs of both poles, which can be excavated to form an umbrella roof covering the peaks of the exposed roof poles. On the contrary, there are basically two individual screens, between which there is a recess and, in the plan, a constriction, at which the rainwater ruptures. It does not come to a substantial for the stability of the Schirmdachcs distortion of a convex overall covering.
In DE-PS 602 502 a screen of a different kind, ie with only one floor, described, in which the center of the umbrella roofs of eight equal length umbrella umbrella is laterally offset from the floor, which by different lengths, from the slider to the Center of the roof bars extending struts is possible.
The invention has the object of providing a generic umbrella so abstract that it can be easily aufgcspanni and results in the clamped state, a relatively flat canopy.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the pairs between the floors of adjacent roof bars are shortened compared to the other roof bars and a spring arrangement comprehensive automatic Ausstcllvorrichtung is provided for both floors.
By shortening the roof bars adjacent to each other between the floors, it is possible to bring the upper ends of the floors closer to each other, so that the floors are smaller than 90 ° and the roof of the roof is not so strongly curved. The automatic Ausstellvorrichtungcn on the two sticks only require triggering in the vicinity of the handle without sliders must be pushed against the tension of the canopy to the top of the sticks. The Aufstellcn the screen is so easily possible with two hands.
In a first embodiment, the spring arrangement of the automatic display device can comprise a screwdriver which is connected to each floor and which surrounds the floor in a manner known per se and acts between the slider and the struts.
In another suitable embodiment, the spring arrangement comprises tension springs, which act on the roof bars and the struts each at a distance from Anlcnkpunkt the struts on the roof bars and on the side of the in the clamping of the screen cinstcllcndcn pivoting of the struts with respect to the roof bars smaller Winkels are arranged between these.
Ausführungsbcispiclc of the invention are illustrated in the drawing.

Fig. 6 shows the view of another embodiment from above.
The troughs as a whole with (200), (400) and (500) each have two sticks (211), (411) and (511), which are mounted at one end to a handle (12) and from a parallel and closely adjacent layers are V-shaped spread (see Fig. 1 and 3), each of which a slide (218) (Fig. 1) and (418) (Fig. 3) with struts (17) and Dachslangen (16 ) and having a common covering (214), (414) and (514).
In the parallel position of the sticks (211), (411) and (511), the roof bars (16) with the covering (214), (414) and (514) are folded up against the sticks. This corresponds, as with a screen with only one floor, to the normal folded-up rest or transport position. Due to the presence of the two poles (211, 411 and 511, respectively), a fabric which is enlarged in relation to a normal umbrella and which is common to the two poles can be stretched tightly.
In order to make the V-shaped spreading of the sticks (211), (411) and (511) and thus the clamping of the screen, no special Spreader linkage is provided, but it is the spreading of the sticks (211), (411) and (511) are made by the roof bars (16), (16 '), (16 ") themselves, of which the between the sticks (211), (411), (511) facing roof bars (16'), (16) (Fig. 2), (16) (Fig. 3) and (16 ') (Fig. 6) are interconnected by joints (34).
In the Ausführangsform according to FIGS. 1 and 2 each of the two sticks (211) associated Dachstangcnsätze eight at an angle of 45 ° staggered roof bars (16), (16 '), (16), of which two adjacent and between the sticks (211) arranged roof bars (16 ) shorter than the other six equally long roof bars (16) or (16 ') are. With the sides on which the shorter roof bars (16) are located, the roof bar assemblies of the two poles (211) facing each other. The corresponding pairs of the shorter roof bars (16) of the two poles (211) are interconnected by joints (34), as well as the corresponding pairs of these adjacent longer roof bars (16 '). In this way, a zwickclförmige Schirmflächc (214b) results between the two sticks (211). The surface of the screen (200) is opposite a normal approximately circularly bounded screen by two 45 ° sectors between two normal long roof bars (16), (16 '), the zwickclförmige screen surface (214b) and the two between the tips of the roof bars (16 *) extending screen surface (214e) (Fig. 1 and 2) enlarged.
The two poles (211) of the screen (200) are each provided with an automatic ejection device comprising a slider (218) slidable on the stick (211) and against the leading ends of which a screwdriver (221) attaches to and the slide (218) facing away from a slide member (218a) which is opposite to the slide (218) on the floor (211) is movable. On the sliders (218), (218a) struts (17) are angclenkt, which are attached to a common pivot point on the individual roof bars (16), (16 *), (16). The struts (17) thus form a triangle whose third side is provided by the spring (221). When displaced along the stick (211), the length of the third side changes in such a way that, when starting from the closed position, the slide (218) is released from its lock (19) at the lower end of the sticks (211) Schraubcndruckfcder (221) exerts such a force that the slide (218) from the handle (12) moves away while at the same time on the struts (17) the roof bars (16), (16 '), (16) are issued. To open the screen (200) so only the Vcrricglung on the two slides (218) to be solved. The screen (200) then unfolds automatically in FIG. 1 and 2 obvious way.
In Fig. 1 is in dash-dotted lines a diaphragm (201) angcdcutcl extending from the lower edge of the roof bars (16 *) adjacent sectors of Schirmflächc up to an attachment point on the handle (12) Sic is made of transparent material and can serve to keep up with coming rain and wind.
FIGS. 3 to 5 show a screen (400) which, in its basic structure, corresponds to the screen (200) of FIGS. 1 and 2. So it is the spreading of the sticks (411) made by the roof bars (16) itself, of which between the sticks (411) facing each other roof bars by joints (34) are interconnected.
However, while the screen (200) has an automatic ejection device comprising screwdriving fingers (221) disposed on the sticks (211), such screwing fingers are absent from the screen (400). In the case of the screen (400), the automatic ejection device is formed by tension springs (421) which act between the roof bars (16) and the respectively associated struts (17). As especially good from Fig. 5 is visible, holding pieces (401) are provided on the struts (17) and the roof bars (16) at a respective distance from the hinge piece (420), on which the struts (17) on the roof bars (16) angeklenkt the ends of the tension springs (421) are hung. The tension springs (421) are arranged so that they shorten during the setting of the screen adjusting pivoting of the struts (17) relative to the roof bars (16). The in Fig. 5 in solid lines position corresponds to the closed screen, while the strut (17) with clamped screen as the dashed position cinnimmL When clamping the springs shorten (421) in the illustrated embodiment to about half.
So as soon as the closed screen is loosened slightly and the struts (17) are not quite parallel to
No. 389807 the roof bars (16) lie, as cs in Fig. 5 can be seen, but einnchmen a small angle, as it is approximately in Fig. 4 indicated in solid lines. try the tension springs (421) to continue the opening movement of the roof bars (16) and in the in Fig. 4 dashed Aufspannlagc to arrive. Thus, it only needs the slider (418) to be solved, and the screen (400) jumps by itself in the untensionedc position in which he by locking in the in Fig. In FIG. 4 apparent upper position of the slide (418) can be locked.
The screen (400) is particularly advantageous because its structure is particularly simple despite the presence of a clamping mechanism, as shown in FIG. 3 without further hcrvorgchL
In Fig. 5 a screen (500) is also shown particularly simple embodiment in which each floor (511) seven roof bars (16), (16 ') carries, of which each of the two inner, the connecting plane between the sticks (511) adjacent roof bars (16 ') are shortened and connected at the ends facing each other by joints (34). The remaining roof bars (16 ') are equal to each other, and all roof bars (16), (16') are arranged in the circumferential direction at equal intervals. The roof bars (16 ') opposite, outwardly facing roof bars (16) lie in the plane of the sticks (511), so that the screen (500) in Brcitenrichlung has a tip or protrudes particularly far.
The roof bars (16 ') adjacent roof bars (16) are not connected to each other at the ends. The missing connection entails that the middle zwickclförmige part (514 b) of the fabric (514) is not fixed in its blank, so that z. B. by changing the length of the outer sides (501) of the Bcspannungsteiies (514 b), the canopy can be formed more or less arched in the clamped state.
Particularly in association with the automatic Aufstcllvorrichtung with the springs (421) of Fig. 3 to 5 results in the embodiment of FIG. 6 is a particularly simple, lighter and yet automatically aufspannbarcr screen.
