Sleep detection using an adjustable threshold

The equipment and the method for sleep detection include use of the threshold value in which the regulation for detecting a sleep start and an end is possible. The sleep detection method includes adjusting the sleep threshold value related with the 1st sleep related signal using the 2nd sleep related signal. The 1st sleep related signal is compared with the threshold value after adjustment, and sleep is detected based on this comparison. A sleep related signal may be acquired from an implant type or a type sensor with outside. In order to check a sleep state, an additional sleep related signal may be used. The sleep detector equipment which enforces the sleep detection method may be a component of implant type pulse generators, such as a pacemaker and a defibrillator, for example.
