The invention relates to a device for general water treatment with a cylindrical tank and a continuously regenerated, rotatable filter basket, wherein the tank
Inlet for the untreated water and outlet for the purified water has and the rotating filter basket contains backwash chambers.
It is well known that particles floating in the water are removed during the filtering process. For this purpose, sand filters are usually used, the operation of which is substantially similar to that in the filtration in nature. However, the fine-grained layer in the water filters becomes contaminated after some time and therefore regeneration is necessary.
The regeneration is carried out with pure water in countercurrent to the filtration and during this process, the filter bed is dissolved in a certain case with air or other gaseous medium.
The regeneration can be carried out only by interrupting the filtering process, as a result of which continuous filtration can be carried out only when using a plurality of separate filtration means, and during the regeneration of one of these filtering means filtration is carried out with the other or several other means.
The generally increasing amount of filtration caused by contamination and the resulting decrease in specific throughput result in relatively large filtration devices, which considerably increases the cost of the filtration process.
Another difficulty is caused by the fact that, to increase the filtering effect, multiple filter beds are used whenever necessary. In order to meet the various conditions of water treatment, chemical filtrations, such as the extraction of acids, gases, iron, nitrogen and / or phosphorus, heavy metals, salts, deodorizing, etc., can be carried out in the same way in addition to the removal of suspended solid impurities become. In this way, the simple filtration process is usually combined with other non-treatment processes, but this requires the manufacture of additional filtration and treatment vessels, which increases the cost of the already expensive, intermittent filter technology. Moreover, the technology itself has also become very complicated because there are several to ensure intermittent operation
Coagulation and chemical conditioning tanks and filters of different filter materials and grain sizes are necessary.
In order to reduce the above problems, filtration apparatuses for continuous cleaning were prepared. For example, a device is known which is provided with a wire spool in which a slowly rotating nozzle is used for washing the filter element.
Another system includes a scraper that fits within the spaces between the filter disks and that combs out accumulating contaminants.
In continuous filter devices, the detached contaminants come into a collecting space, from which they are removed periodically.
The disadvantage of the above solutions is, above all, that the extent of filtration is limited by the spacing of the wire coils and filter disks.
Similar is the operation of the filter devices equipped with continuously regenerated sheeting or with various porous materials. Also known are devices that are provided with replaceable filter cartridges and cartridges.
Also known is a continuously purged water filtration device having a cylindrical housing with a rotating filter basket supported on sealed bearings, with untreated water fins in the center of the housing, and cleaned water outlet fins in the bottom. The filter basket is closed at the upper end and sealed against the bore of the outlet and fitted in this. The jacket of the filter basket is provided with filter elements, whereas on the inner wall of the housing a recess is formed, which is adapted to a plane perpendicular to the inlet and outlet nozzle level to the filter basket, wherein the outlet hole leads through the wall of the housing into the recess. Such devices are
No. 3,843,772 in HU-PS No. 172,006. As a result, the filter elements are the filter media containing prisms formed by plates of which two opposite sides are perforated, or by screen cloths, the prisms having a mounting flange for placement on the filter basket. In a preferred embodiment, the outside of the filter basket is curved according to the radius of the filter basket. The filter medium contained in the filter basket can be sand, crushed quartz, activated carbon, crushed porcelain parts or their most favorable mixture.
This device ensures the filtration of the suspended solids of the water, has a small size, low operating costs and a continuous operation, 10 but the simultaneous use of filter elements of different quality and the chemical filtration is not given, so that the water unit only corresponds to the quality of industrial water ,
The object of the invention is a device for general water treatment, which ensures a highly effective cleaning of drinking water, bathing water or wastewater, as it is caused by the combination of different water treatment and filtration processes, at the same time the dimensions are low, the production costs are low and the special
Water treatment conditions are met.
According to the invention, it is proposed in the aforementioned device that an annular coagulation space, which is connected to the neck of the water inlet, is formed in the cylindrical tank 20 and a plurality of rotating filter baskets are arranged with the coagulation space and each other along an axis, wherein the device further with at least one
Gas inlet tube is provided.
The filter baskets which are used according to the invention in the device can be arranged one inside the other or one above the other. In the filter baskets, a plurality of filter beds separated by 25 are suitably arranged and provided with an independent backwashing chamber, wherein the filter beds are preferably arranged between cylindrical, perforated dividing walls.
The proposed filter beds may consist of the same materials but with different grain sizes or different materials with different grain sizes. In general, it is expedient quartz, hydroanthracite, activated carbon, zeolite, synthetic resin or
Use ceramic parts or their mixtures in appropriate proportions.
In the device according to the invention, the gas-carrying tube or one of them leads into the rinsing chamber and / or the coagulation chamber in order to facilitate or carry out the chemical treatment and / or the regeneration of the filter bed with air and / or gas.
The rinsing chamber or rinsing chambers are conveniently connected to the last filter unit to perform the backwashing with the filtered water.
The water treatment and the regeneration can be carried out continuously in the thus formed device, the operation requires minimal energy and little rinse water. The size of the device is extremely small and it can be made in different sizes depending on the conditions.
Further details of the invention are described by way of example with reference to the drawings in which Fig.l is a section of the device according to the invention, in which the filter baskets are arranged one inside the other, Fig.2 shows another embodiment of the invention, in which the filter baskets are arranged one above the other, and Fig. 3 is a side view of the device of Fig. 2, with parts cut away.

Sludge outlets -11- and a drain pipe -12- at the bottom are on one
Bottom plate -10- of the cylindrical tank -2- arranged.
An annular coagulation space -13- is provided between the cylindrical tank -2- and the filter housing -3-. Here, the flow of water through guide plates -14- is facilitated. In the upper part of the filter housing -3- there are openings -15- through which the water flows from the coagulation chamber -13- into the filter housing -3-.
An outer backwashing chamber -16- is connected to the inner jacket of the filter housing and from its lower part extends one of the outlet nozzles -11- for the muddy water.
The rotatably mounted in the filter housing -3- filter basket -4- comprises outer filter cylinder -17- and inner filter cylinder -18-. These filter cylinders consist of filter beds arranged between perforated partition walls, with cylindrical guide plates 19 between them. The sludge can be removed from the backwash chamber, which belongs to the inner filter cylinder -18-, through the Schlammauslaßstutzen -11-, through the

The outer and inner filter cylinders -17 and 18- are split into radial sections with plates -22-. These sections contain the filtering material which is filled in by openings formed on the sections with closable covers -23-.
A gas inlet pipe -24- is via the Schlammwasserauslaßstutzen -11- with the inner 20 Backwashing chamber -20- connected. At its end, nozzles are formed, which are directed against the geometric centerline of the device. Similarly, a gas inlet tube -26- with the coagulation space -13- is above the bottom plate -10- of the cylindrical one
Tanks -2- connected.
The composition and maintenance of the device according to the invention is ensured by an access hole closed by a cover -27-.
The operation of the device is as follows:
The untreated water enters the coagulation space through the untreated water inlet port -5-, where the added chemicals are mixed and conditioned according to water treatment purposes. In some cases, air or other gas may also be mixed with the water, depending on the type of treatment (iron removal, degassing, acid extraction, etc.). The velocity of the water to be treated decreases in the coagulation space, after the time of entry then the water evenly distributed through the openings -15- of the filter housing -3- comes to the filter cylinder -17- of the filter basket -4-, where the floating, solid impurities of the be treated to be treated water 35. The water flowing through the filter bed flows along the cylindrical baffles -19- into the central part of the filter basket -4-, where it again flows evenly distributed on the filter bed or filter net on the inner filter cylinder -18- whose grain size and / or material of that the outer filter bed is different, and where the water is cleaned of the fine impurities. The purified water leaves the filter basket -4- over the tubular shaft -7- and the outlet pipe -8- for the filtered water.
The filter basket -4- is driven by the drive wheel -9-, depending on the requirements of
Water treatment, twisted so that each section of the outer and the inner filter cylinder -17 and 18- moves along the outer and inner backwashing chamber -16 and 20- moves.
Due to the pressure difference, part of the filtered water flows from inside the
Filter basket -4- through the filter bed opposite to the filtration direction and tears the deposited impurities, which are discharged through the Schlammauslaßstutzen -11-. More intensive back washing of the filter beds is facilitated by air or other gas supplied through the gas inlet tube. Similarly, air or other gas may be introduced into the coagulation room 13 through another gas inlet tube 26 to supplement the
Be injected water treatment.

The upper part of the filter housing -3- is provided with through holes -15-. The filter cylinders -32- are similar to the outer filter cylinders -17- as shown in Fig. 1: Also, they are sectional bodies delimited by perforated plates enclosing the filter beds. The filter baskets -4- are mounted on a central shaft -33-, which are driven by a drive wheel -9-. The outlet ports -34- are centered on the lower plates -21- of the filter baskets -4- arranged, which are arranged as sliding bearings in the partitions -29-.
The filter baskets -4- of the device are provided with backwash chambers -35-, as shown in Fig.3. These surround the filter baskets -4- preferably at an angle of 25 to 30 °, their height is the same as that of the filter baskets -4-.
The device is similar to that in Fig.l with an inlet pipe -5- for the untreated water, with a outlet pipe -8- for the filtered water, and a Schlammaus20 laß and exhaust pipe -12- provided. The device is also provided with a gas inlet pipe.
The operation of the device according to FIGS. 2 and 3 is as follows:
The water to be treated is introduced through the untreated water inlet port into the coagulation chamber 13, where the added chemicals are mixed and conditioned according to the purpose of the water treatment. The water may be mixed with air or other gases, if necessary.
The water flows slowly upwards in the coagulation chamber, then enters through the through-openings -28- into the upper unit -2c- and from there through the transfer openings -15- into the filter chamber. When passing through the first filter bed it flows into the middle part of the filter basket -3-, then through the outlet pipe -34- in 30 the unit -2b-. After the filtration carried out here, the water flows into the bottom unit -2a, then into the filtered water chamber 31, and finally exits through the outlet port -8- for filtered water. In the meantime, the backwashing of the compartments takes place continuously in the backwash chambers -35-.
Although the device illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3 consists of only three units, according to the purpose of the water treatment a number of units can be connected in series, in which the filter beds of different materials and grain sizes can be combined as desired, as well as with the chemicals introduced into the coagulation space. The units have the same construction and the unused sockets are closed during construction by covers -36-.
W The examples show that the device according to the invention can be assembled in any combination according to the purpose of the filtration or the treatment: The filter baskets are arranged concentrically into one another or one above the other, wherein the filter materials are chosen arbitrarily and arranged according to the conditions. The device can be operated continuously, its dimension is small and the performance is extremely high compared to the dimensions. The manufacture of the device is cheap and its composition and maintenance are simple.
