Mobile branch exchange

A system for providing private exchange functionality branching, PBX, to a mobile communication device, an exchange system mobile branch (MBX); using a mobile communication device operable to communicate through a voice path and data path; using also a private branch exchange operable to be in communication with the mobile communication device via a voice path; addition, using a server that is able to communicate with the mobile communication device via a data path and monitor the PBX for activity related to a user of mobile communication device, and to control the PBX in accordance with commands received by the data path of the mobile communication device; characterized in that the system comprises; server software for the exchange system mobile branch MBX, the MBX server, which is operable to communicate with a private exchange branch PBX via a data connection such as an interface Integration Computer Telephony CTI for ( i) monitor the PBX for activity related to a user of mobile communications device who is also a user of the PBX, and (ii) control the PBX in accordance with algorithms residing in the MBX server or commands received from the communication device mobile on the data path; one mobile communication device comprising a software client for the exchange system mobile branch, customer MBX, which operates to communicate in parallel through a speech path with a PBX, via a data path to the server MBX, the MBX client is also operable to (i) monitor the mobile communication device for activity related to a speech path between the mobile communication device and the PBX, and (ii) controlling the speech path between the device mobile communication and the PBX in accordance with commands received through the data path of MBX server and user's mobile communication device; a private exchange branch PBX operable to be in communication with the MBX server by exposing a data connection such as a Telephony Integration interfazde Computer CTI the MBX server, the PBX is also operable to be in communication with the device mobile communication via a voice path; a data path between the exchange server and client mobile branch exchange mobile branch that is parallel to a voice path between a mobile communication device and a private branch exchange; a combination of voice and data channels via a Data Synchronization Protocol Voice (VDSP) implemented in both elservidor MBX mobile branch exchange client and mobile branch exchange.
