Carcass processing apparatus

Apparatus for processing carcasses galliformes animals, including - a conveyor line (3) which, in operation, carcasses are suspended by their feet, - a heating zone (1) through which the bodies are transported by the conveyor line (3), including the heating zone - means of hot air (16, 17, 18) to project a flow of hot air onto the carcasses to warm the outer surface of the bodies to thus loosen feathers wherein the means of hot air (16, 17, 18) comprises units hot air jet, in which a plurality of jets are mounted in a set located adjacent to a path of the carcasses through the area heating units such hot air jet being located on both sides of the path through the heating zone (1).
