Process for the deposition of aluminium oxide coatings
Abstract
A process for depositing a coating of aluminum oxide on the surface of a continuous glass ribbon provided at an elevated temperature during a production process of float glass by contacting said surface with a fluid mixture comprising a precursor of aluminum, which is characterized in that the fluid mixture further comprises a carboxylic acid ester.
