System navigation aid, which is arranged to specify and update continuously a recommended between two or more points listed geographically in a display unit of a client computer (33) arranged to communicate with a service server (35) route via a wireless communications system (37), wherein said service server (35) accessing a database (34) with geographical data necessary to indicate the recommended route, designate information objects by means of an icon ( 21) that can be displayed on the display unit of the client, the system navigation aid being arranged to appoint, together with said specification recommended route, said information objects related to the recommended and a geographical area route, and provide along with that designation of information objects, a first pointer to a storage location connected to a communications network (31) for more information (35) relating to such information objects being accessible such additional information (35) means applicable in said communications network procedures (31), characterized in that in said database (34), can be stored, for each information object, said first pointer and a second pointer to a storage location arranged in connection with a communications network (31) for the icon (32) which symbolizes the information object and that said second pointer contains some data (15) indicating which category will represent the icon.
