The invention relates to a drainage device for medical purposes, consisting of a hose whose wall is perforated at the end of the tube.
Such a drainage device is described, for example, in Swiss Patent No. 484679. The perforation is formed by circular holes whose distance is relatively large in relation to the Durch5 diameter of the holes. The offset of the longitudinally consecutive holes is about 90 °. By this arrangement, the perforation to excessive weakening of the hose wall to be prevented, however, is to be expected in the known drainage device with frequent blockages, as the relatively small holes quickly enforce and caused by the suppression of the small hole area force is not10 is enough to reverse blockages when the like from the body cavity or the like. outstanding end of the hose is connected to a vacuum or vacuum tank.
The invention has for its object to provide a drainage device in which the risk of clogging is lower and occurring blockages Kings can be easily eliminated15 NEN.
The stated object is achieved in that the perforation is formed as a continuous, helically extending aperture of the hose wall.
As a result of the continuous helical aperture, the aufnehehemiende surface is relatively large and can be up to 25% of the wall surface. In addition, after inserting the drainage device by rotating the extracorporeal part, depending on the direction of rotation, an enlargement or reduction of the opening width and the diameter of the tube can be effected, since when turning on the implanted
Hose end due to friction on the body tissue counter forces occur. By increasing the Durchbreching width can be achieved easily breaking the blockages. When removing the drainage device, it is advantageous that by a corresponding rotation of the extracorporeal part of the diameter of the implanted tube end can be reduced and thus easier to remove.
In the drawing, a piece of the hose end of a drainage device according to the invention is shown enlarged as an exemplary embodiment.
The drainage device consists of an about 1 m long tube of polyvinyl chloride or other suitable plastic and has an outer diameter of about 2.5 to 5 mm. The end of the hose is about 15 to 20 cm long and has a perforation -2- in the form of a continuous, helical opening of the hose wall -1- with about35 8 to 10 screw threads, one of which is shown. Through the perforation -2- a helical ridge of the tube wall -1- is formed, the visible side surfaces are hatched at -3-. The inner tube -4- is cylindrical in itself, but continues in the perforation -2- outward, so that there is an approximate keyhole-like shape in each cross-section, the beard length is shortened, however. The perforation -2- occupies about 25% of the wall surface of the hose end.
When the tube is turned from the outside, a shearing force occurs in the tube wall -1-, which can not be transmitted in the area of the perforation -2-. As a result, the aperture edges -2a, 2b- move towards or away from each other, depending on the direction of rotation on the tube. A blockage which has occurred during the implantation is torn open because of this, so that the flow through the inner tube is ensured again.
The web formed by the perforation -2- hose wall -1- has a width of about 8 to 10 mm and the aperture itself is about '0.8 to 2.51 mm wide.
