Abstract
Process for vaporizing liquid reactants in a process for the production of a preform of glass powder, comprising: forming a channel of horizontal flow of a continuous stream of liquid reactant having a thickness sufficient for generating vapor under regime nucleate boiling or film; and heating said stream of liquid reactant to generate a sufficient vapor under boiling regime film or nucleate temperature.
